Doing my first order, advice?

Well, first day with new snuses coming to an end, started off with general extra strong which was excellent, I've been snusing grov all day, and I must say that after the first couple I wasn't as crazy about it. I find that the grov reminds me a lot of general, in fact I really can't tell the difference, to me the salt is overpowering. I am now snusing ettan Los. My first prilla went about how I thought it would, way too big and as soon as my top lip came down on it I got a mouth full of powder! However, I spit all that out and tried again and the second one being much smaller than the first is working pretty well, it fell apart when I tried to use my tongue to move it, but I've still got it in and man! This is the way to go, the Los is so much better than portion and the full experience seems to shine through, even the Nic hit that I've been missing from the portions! This ettan is excellent and I think so far this is the one that I am absolutely going to reorder, it is just fantastic!

I'll continue to update as I try different ones, I'm going to break out the olde ving fudge tomorrow and see how that goes.

I know I started Snus with crappy camel and Marlboro and used to think it was good. I love mint and it's all I knew. After I had access to general I knew it was time to utilize Snus central. I know I'll never go back. I'll be ordering a big order next week. Shame we can't get the good stuff here in murica lol

Thunder berry is one of my favorites, it's amazing. I'm about to try the orange and also gonna try the brandy myself.

Let me know how you like Olde Ving fudge - I'm putting some on order and really curious about it

Tried it today, the first one was fantastic, but after about the second or third one it got to the point it made me sick, it was entirely too sweet even the smell started to nauseate me after a while. I will say that the flavor is good it has hints of cocoa, coconut, and tobacco. It seems to be a pretty complex pallet of flavors but it's just too sweet. I think I may keep this in my rotation, but it will be a very occasional thing, definitely not something that I could use regularly.

With all that, I now have my second prilla of ettan Los in and am enjoying it just as much as the first, so far this is definitely the way to go for me!

I like Jakobsson mint a lot, but there's no way I could use it all day. It's an occasional dessert snus, and that's fine. That might be a good use for the fudge. A snus doesn't have to be a full timer to have it's place in the roster.

You'll get used to the salt. I think you'll find Grov is dramatically different from General. It'll just take you awhile before you key in on the flavor.

buysnus threw in a can of captain yankee when they resent the missing parts of my order. My gums are a little roughed up right now because I've been doing nothing but snusing and studying German but it is not to my liking. It tastes like a dark chocolate cherry mix and sometimes has mint, although its hard to say cuz you know...the gums. It smells kind of like skoal cherry but tastes like that with chocolate. I might lower lip one to see if I can get a good taste on the flavor while i let my top gums heal.

Just tried my first thunder frosted, not a good experience! At first the flavor was ok I figured I could deal with it, but after a few minutes I got a horrid headache and started to feel really bad, I spit that out and am starting to feel better, but I'm not sure why I felt that way, but guess I'm going to have to leave the thunder alone!

I know someone is going to say it's the large amount of nicotine in thunder, but I've had a general extra strong portion in the morning for the past 2 days and have had no problems, I guess maybe it's another ingredient in the thunder that wasn't working for me?

Snuses will affect you differently depending on the exact formulation. The nicotine content on the tin is only a rough guideline to how you'll feel. Some release it slowly, and others will be faster. I'm guessing the Thunder is a fast release, and it went to your head. I don't use starks, so I don't have personal experience.

Welp, I put the frosted back in the freezer where it's gonna stay! Since then I've tried goteborgs rape which I find to be very good but on the weak side when it comes to flavor, roda lacket which again, very good but not intense on the flavor, and I now have a general onyx portion in and this is by far the best portion I've tried thus far, good strong flavor, excellent nicotine content, and it looks really cool!

I'll be trying the rest, but for now onyx is my favorite.

Hard to describe the taste, it did kinda taste like cherry and wintergreen and chocolate or something. But almost a funky off-brand dr.pepper taste.

I was wondering whether to try and acquire some of this stuff, I have heard the Dr Pepper ref, I like it, but the whole cherry wintergreen really puts me off.

Based on what you have liked so far, I'm interested in hearing how you like Skruf. I started on camel snus, found this site and the kind folks led me to the real snus.

My first order was a waste of about 80% of the tins. I liked General at first, didn't Skruf at first. Then after a couple days of General it became gross to me and tried Skruf again. Ive been using Skruf now for about 5 years almost exclusively. My only substitutions are Ettan and General Onyx, *Claq Qui i fudging miss you so badly I've tried pretty much all snus' and nothing seems to come close to Skruf, for me. Hoping Nord 66 wont let me down.

Your palette (sp?) will change as you try the different types, so make damn sure you give them a second round of taste testing. General was good stuff in the beginning, but now tastes like rotten citrus.
