    Less-popular snuses

I have recently tried and loved Tre Ankare. I just got some LD White, and it is one of the best snuses I have ever had.

There are many less common varieties of snus, such as Kapten, Gustavsnus, Jagarpris, Knekt, Smalands, that never get talked about on here. Are all of these any good?

Gustavus is good. It's similar to LD, but with floral notes. Jagarpris is interesting. I'd have a hard time giving a blanket recommendation, but it's definitely worth a try. One you didn't list is Gringo. I highly recommend that one, and think it compares favorably to any big name snus. It also comes with 50g in a tin, the way snus is meant to be packed.

If you like the LD white portion maybe give the lös and salmiak portion a try. Two of my favourites that you never really hear much about.

Thanks for the recommendations guays. I've actually tried Jagarpris, and thought it was one of the most disgusting things I've ever put in my mouth. YMMV I guess. I have a can of gringo los sitting in the freezer. Does gringo come in anything other than los? Also, does anyone know why it's called gringo?

Gringo is lös only. Dunno about the name. I guess they were going for hip and trendy, and wanted a break from the perceived stodgy history of lössnus.
