Is this snus different?

So I am looking at a can of Jakobsson's Classic Strong and there is all this English writing, including a mouth cancer warning in English. I find it hard to believe that a product for the Swedish market will have so much English on the label.

Is this the same snus being sold in Sweden? Or is this US-market snus of some sort?

I bought from both Northerner and SnusCentral, btw.

bought from Northerner i believe the cans are in english. All of my cans from buysnus are in swedish though.

Jakobbson snus is largely geared towards American taste, especially the strong varieties. It meets all Swedish standards, and you can safely ignore the label. It's pure unfounded bullshit. Going into our forth Bush term, you should be used to government bullshit :^D

Most snus manufacturers are now making snus with English labels specifically for the US market. Same product inside, no difference other than the label and the stupid warning that the FDA forces us to use in order to import and sell into US brick and mortar shops.

Have you ever brought up the findings from over in Sweden in regards to snus to the FDA? Has anyone? And what was their reaction to the information they were given?

uh yeah, this has been addressed with FDA and they honestly don't care about "Swedish" clinical studies. It's my understanding that they are planning on running their own studies, the problem with that is that they will probably let big pharma run the studies, lol. Who knows what will happen, and let me tell you...it's difficult to sell snus without talking about harm reduction...it blows. I despise the FDA
