I'm not sure why but since I started my very recent "Snus life", and after reading your posts, and posting here myself, there is something that I would love to know from Snus lovers who have been with Snus for a long time.

I'm curious as to what the average use is during a one day period.

I'm sure everyone has their own personal enjoyment of Snus but for me I can't seem to find out where that is.

I am finding (new guy here) that I am missing Snus well before I actually pop in a portion or an ice tool of my favorite Snus.

Do long time users still "miss" it between uses? Or do you just have a schedule?

And more to the point! Is it possible that anyone here uses Snus just once a day? Somehow I don't think that is possible. Maybe it is?

Is there some kind of a "record" holder for daily consumption?

Have no idea why but I'm curious about this.

I don't think there is an hour that goes by when I don't have one in from about 10am till about midnight, when I finish one I usually throw another one in. I did use a whole tin of oden's 69 in one day once but thats rare, very rare!

First I would like to thank your for the Snus insight. And I would love to hear about the frequency of other Snus fans. I find that most interesting.

I think that those stories are more interesting to me (a new Snuser) then what flavors I'd like.

Someone is going to come up with a new Snus I've never tried before and I know I'll never look back. It's just a matter of time.

On the "Vale" issue. I am not going to take this new site I found and love because of "meeting" Rick Charles into a personal diversion.

All I will tell you on that exact topic is that I am responsible for starting a thread on another site specifically on the career of Rossi. And that thread is still going strong to this day the last time I checked.

My "history" data here will show a little of who and what I am other than a Snus guy.

But this place is a true "escape" for me now that I have found (later in life) something that I love other then bikes.

Please keep on giving me your personal thoughts on Snus.

I won't "ride" with Snus for personal reasons. But I will look forward to getting off the bike and enjoying some Offroad Los Lakrits (and many others) when I take the helmet off.

Honestly I never kept track. I guess it's safe to say I can go through a can of General Mint WP in a little over a day and a half.


As for not riding with snus...

If it wasn't for snus I'd have a lot more bent up race cars

Snus is in my mouth from the time I wake to the the time I go to bed, and sometimes after. If I don't have snus in, it means I stupidly forgot it when I left, and am using the nasal snuff I keep in my Jeep for emergencies :^D

I alternate between snus and snuff now. I'll keep a prilla or portion in for about an hour then take snuff whenever the mood strikes me for an hour or two until the next snus.

I use about 6 portions a day for probably like about 6 years. If you wan to know who uses the most snus here at snuson I would suggest that you go here and look for the name Jagmanass...

Get that Lafayette Street Snus by Catch. That's pretty sweet and has a lot of flavor for a mini. Use 2 portions if you need to. Some people double up with all kinds of snus.

I use anywhere between half a can to a can a day. I love snus because It allowed me to get my nicotine while working. I don't have any sort of set schedule besides for putting one in when i get in the shower every morning. Frequency really depends on the situation. Driving all day will usually be one portion after another. Work can be very different each time. If i get a ton of CA and PA callers all day maybe one every 3 hours but if my phone keeps lighting up with calls from NJ NY, GA(the part that speaks like the special teams coach from water boy) I'm shoveling them in one after the other.
Laying in bed watching TV is one every few hours. Playing a game etc is one every few hours.
I usually pop a new one in before each class of the day at school.
I "miss" snus very rarely because I always have some on me. There was only one real time I was stranded without it while I was at work and had taken a can out of my bag meaning to replace it with a new can before I left and forget. Luckily I was only stuck at work for 2 hours before I took a risk and put in an online order for jimmyjohns and in the special instructions I said I would give a 12 dollar tip if the delivery kid would stop by the gas station on the way and get me a can of general. Guy had no idea what the hell it was but he got it. Cool guy, ended up writing in an extra 3 bucks for him for being awesome. Probably the most expensive sandwhich I ever bought.

As for not riding with snus...

Although I said it was personal about not using Snus while on the bike I think it is worth mentioning.

There are two reasons.

1. The way I ride I need 1000% concentration every second I'm on the bike. And me still being a "puppy" in the Snus use I still find it diverts my attention while it's in my mouth. I notice it there.

2. And more important if the worst ever happens to me on the bike I don't need any breathing or airway issues on top of the other issues I'll be having while being scraped off the roadway.

So now it isn't personal anymore.
