    Swedish Match NA speculation

So I was browsing snubie.com and read that Kardus 2013 isn't happening because of some sort of huge rollout in the US around the new year. No hints as to what.

I know speculation isn't worth a damn thing, but still... If you guys could choose what the new rollout would be, what would you choose?

I'm hoping for Onyx or Grov.

If not as ambitious as the full portfolio, I'd love to see Ettan lös available.

From reading Chad's bit I did not get the sense that whatever it is will be a permanent thing. Rather, a special limited time promo that will be available like Kardus was available. Maybe I read that wrong. Regardless I am seldom wowed by anything new that the snus companies market these days. In fact, GN is about the only company who has done anything of interest since PACT (from my biased los/non candy flavored perspective)

So..........I'm holding my breath for SM's release.......but secretly I'm breathing through my noes

When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Could be.... I didn't read into it either way, so I automatically assumed it would be a long-term rollout. SM's corporate reports had mentioned that the General line was doing very well, and that they were satisfied with the progress made. So maybe I'm just getting my hopes up. Frankly, I'd be happy even if it was just a short-term, one-time thing.

Swedish Match is simply changing their name to Swedish Lighter....to try and keep up with a bit newer technology.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

              Hahahaha.

I recon it will be Onyx and General ES coming out or something like that.

It would be great if they expanded availability somewhat. Out of three places I've been near me, that sell snus, all that they offer is Gen Nordic Mint (yuck) and Original WP. Two places had expired 'best by' dates and those crummy 12 portion boxes. One place has the 24 portion cans priced as 12 portion cans, no complaints about that, haha.

Is the shipping costs the only reason you don't buy online?

In fact is that the only reason anyone doesn't buy online given the fact that you can buy almost any Snus you available online.

Of course there are some states that these online guys won't and can't ship to.

Dan, I do buy online, because I like a few different labels. General WP, I'll buy locally, because that's all that I can get locally. Shipping from Sweden is over $28, whether I buy three cans or three rolls, so I stock up when free shipping is available. It's worked so far. I'd make my own but, I'm not much of a chef.

Actually lighter is much older technology than the relatively new match

i don't buy online as I don't have/want a credit or debit card, so I'm stuck to either trading general products I can buy close to home, or money-ordering to people to buy snus from them. I can only hope ES and onyx will be available here.

No tab, but I'll deal with you........

I emailed a PR lady at SM today and asked what was new for US, no response yet.
