    LD Salmiak

Right. Long time lurker, first time poster here. I just wanted to ask y'all what you're thoughts were on LD Salmiak. You might call it (know it as) LD Black, but it's not black these days. Anyhoozledoodleberries, I've been snusing for about a year, trying to find my "all day" snus. Historically, I kinda hate the taste of anise/licorice. LD Salmiak is fcking amazing! Something about the combo of strong licorice and tobacco is THEE balls. Did I mention I hate licorice? LD Salmiak is creamy and rich. Gawd, licorice is fcking nasty, but holy shit, this stuff is good. Maybe it’s also because the portions are so comfortable and perfectly packed. I don’t know. Thoughts?

Love it. I haven't used it in a couple years cause I don't use portions much, but I love the flavor, and it was the first snus I really got on with. I liked it immediately, and never lost the taste for it. Great licorice flavor, slightly sweet, and a nice oily texture. It's the perfect licorice portion. For lössnus, Offroad lakrits is great. I'm hoping to give Odens lakrits lös a try soon.

Hi, Hammerton. Never tried it, and some sites say "not sold in the US". But, I read that it tastes like Jaegermeister, so, it can't be too bad. Might try it myself if I can get it.

My very first Snus was Offroad Los Lakrits. That was the reason I fell in love with Swedish Snus.

For me personally the Odens Los Lakrits does not come close.

It's still my first Snus of the day. At 5:00 AM this is my wake up call.

Love all things LD! I hate lakrits too, but the LD Salmiak is wonderful and usable for me. If you want to get close to it if you can't get any snus, try the Oliver Twist Black, they are salmiak flavoured and I can't get enough of them!

Are they still putting it in the black portions?

            As I remember, I reviewed it in 2010 - http://chadizzy1.blogspot.com/2010/0...july-2010.html

And those portions were the softest portions I've ever had. Amazing.

Had a tin earlier this year and they weren't black anymore, however, as with all LD portions, they are still the most comfortable ever made!
