Nope. But old Jersey is an island we have some sort of connection with - but it's complicated ... it's definitely not French!

PS - the only real Worcestershire sauce is made by Lea & Perrins ... all others are just imitations.

Sometimes wrong and sometimes right .... but ALWAYS certain!!!

It's not just Chad ... I heard a national Radio 2 presenter refer to Bicester as "bitchester" ! And he doesn't even have the excuse of being American.
English is one of the worst languages to be intuitive with. Most other germanic languages have a pronunciation just how it is spelled.
Example: Why the hell does bologna and Tony rhyme with each other?
But tell someone from England how a town name is pronounced or god forbid someone from Massachusetts but not Boston, and you wont hear the end of it. I had someone try to pronounce Roanoke, Texas as 'row uh naka'.

Lately I've been on a Norwegian learning kick and it's pretty awesome. They have just one word for a lot of common phrases that are usually said several different ways with lots of words in another language.

I just bought a full role of this snus.

            It's great!

            Why is the can sticky?

It looks like it rolled around in los snus before being packaged.

Sticky mud on the outside of each can.

Glad I bought a while role!!

Was reading through this thread and had to agree with this. Either in a Caesar or on a roast it's the real one.

I just opened up a can of this snus and couldn't help wonder the same thing.
I wiped it down but it's still sticky...

Probably best not to think about it

When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

They're all like that. It's something in the rubbery coating. It does help keep the tin in your shirt pocket in a weightless environment.
