I'm really getting tired of General original, mint, and wintergreen. I miss my variety. But Visa blocks transactions from Sweden, so I cannot purchase from MakeWebo sites like BuySnus. I live in South Dakota, which *technically* prohibits the online purchase of tobacco, so places like Northerner are out.

A select few gas stations are my only recourse for some snus. Is there ANY way I can acquire some other beloved brands I haven't been able to enjoy for over a year now?

It probably isn't visa it is probably the bank issuing your card. I have used visa before.
If you call and they won't unblock it consider applying for a new credit card. A bonus would be something that offers a 0% foreign transaction fee.
My Amazon visa rewards always worked and so does my marriott rewards visa and discover it. The latter 2 has 0% foreign transaction.
If you don't like the idea of getting another credit card could you run down to a walmart or something take a 3$ hit and load a prepaid card with money?

Have you tried to tell Visa you want to make a purchase in Sweden, I call them , and tell them and my order goes right through! If I do not tell them, they assume fraud and the card never goes through.

So, use my card online with out calling......Declined no sale.
Call them, tell them $162.45 (order total) to Make Webo please, and online card goes right through.

Got it? This is a common problem really, and is often interpreted as a ban or policy off Visa. They are just programmed to deny foreign charges without prior authorization. Give it a go and thank me later!

I just went through this Saturday, I thought i would give it a go without calling, declined, called them, and Bingo!

I have made snus orders with just about every card I ever posessed which would be a debit visa and mastercard from my current bank and one i recently switched over from, a student visa card, a state farm crystal rewards, amazon rewards visa, marriott rewards visa signature (card is metal, makes you look important as ****) and a discover it.

What kind of cards are you guys using where it gets auto declined? I know 2 of the cards I have used are issued by chase bank and 2 are from state farm bank and 1 from discover....bank or whatever you want to call it.

My Citibank MasterCard has never been declined. On one snus order from Sweden, they did call to make sure it was my order, but never blocked or interfered with the transaction.
