Frosted...it's a good show, but don't expect more than it is. It's not going to blow your mind with anything, but I liked it, and was entertained by it.

I'll check this out...
The only time I remember seeing filmed snus use is in the third Millennium film. When Lisbeth goes to jail they don't allow smoking so she switches to snus and uses it for the rest of the film.... I don't know what brand.
This was in the extended version, so it might not have appeared in the US release.

As Burnsey said...I can't get into something unless it's remotely believable. When on earth would a girl like her ever be interested in an ugly old man like him?
Never seen The Family Blue....but I did get into Brotherhood as the lead guy (Michael) reminded me of my Dad. Trust me..he wasn't very far removed from my Dad except my Dad stopped short of killing people. His facial features build, eyes height, aggression are identical to my Dad. If somebody pissed him off he would beat them to within an inch of their life.....in front of us. That look in his eyes I saw in my father all the time. I wish I had a photograph to post so you can see. The resemblance is remarkable which is what sucked me in. Excellent acting.Last edited by Frosted; 01-02-14, 11:41 PM.

I'm about halfway through season 2 now. Sucks there are only 8 episodes per.
I like his main partner that always tries to shit talk people in English. It always reminds me of the japanese foreign exchange students we would get in high school. Every once in awhile the wannabe gangsters would befriend one of them and the result would be hilarious. I also like the Indian guy they just recruited i found their interaction pretty funny.
The show overall doesn't have an exact premise. Nothing long term that they are striving towards. But he is starting to build his own little mafia while they deal with each obstacle along the way. Really all it makes me want to do is go and explore Norway even more.
It's ok to not like the show if you don't believe it Frosted, I for example can't watch anything with jack black in it even if he has just 1 line. It ruins the whole movie for me. I hate the office because it is incredibly stupid and the same goes for scrubs. I however do like the show quite a bit, I find it very entertaining. It's also helping me with my Norwegian, understanding it from several different speaking voices rather than the one default robotish one i deal with in my lessons.

Yeah thunder, 8 episodes.. Wat the?! I waited at least a year and a half for the second season( I don't think this is possible either, but it at least felt that long.), and then I watched the whole thing in one night.. . .. . I love the show though, and Trond Fausa AurvÄg ( The Bothersome Man), and Steve Van Zandt. I think it was 8 episodes of high quality material so I don't fuss too much, just wish it was longer.
I hate it when I watch a film or a show and everyone is speaking English, when they should be speaking old Norse or Spanish or something... Like the show Walander.
