Not being an every hour on the hour viewer here at The Forum I am curious as to what happened to a recent interesting thread here re The Northerner and its related "problems" with their site.

The thread seems to have vanished? Some of the posts from PP hinted at that possibility.

I don't remember anything harsh being on there? Me and a few others were expressing concern about them not offering DDP like the others...thats the last i saw of it.

I think (maybe) the Moderator was trying to be respectful to the rep from The Northerner who was also giving her feedback in a very informative way.

Still I always wonder if removing a thread that is getting a lot of comment does really make the comments "go away".

However.....sometimes these threads can just go around in circles without anybody being happy.

And that is what Mods are supposed to do in the first place.

I guess that is what happened here.

I didn't see what was posted last night - and maybe it justified deletion ... but that whole thread was very useful to me in that it prompted me to check back through my old PMs and find one from the Northerner rep from about a month ago. PP also was very helpful in putting a good word in for my case (I don't know what kind of influence he has - but it's obviously some!)

The strength of feeling shown in that thread only goes to show you that customers of companies that give them unsatisfactory service can have long memories!

I'm happy to say that very soon I expect to take delivery of a re-shipment of my entire order that was the long-standing source of my personal dissatisfaction with Northerner. For me that will have resolved the main issue I had with the company and I'm happy to accept the apology given and carry on now that's sorted out.

As for prices ... they always fluctuate in a competitive market and you have to shop around and balance the pros and cons of all the options to get the best deals ... snus is no different in that respect from any other commodity.
