I toyed around with it last year when wanting to quit. I bought a bunch of random snus that I thought would be good IMHO. I found that I really didn't care for it too much and only ended up using some of it when I couldn't get to smoke. Now that I have quit smoking 50 some odd days now I have been snusing regularly everyday for the past two months.
I havent been snusing for all that long ( around 2 months) but i have tried alot of different types and i found that i like a bunch of different types.
- I wondered how long people here have been snusing? And if some ever felt that something was wrong with their gums.(diseases and so on)
- How many portions/pris a day
I have used snus for about 2 months now. Iv'e noticed a white/yellow dot on my gum which i dont know what is yet. It has been there for a month or so i guess.
I use between 4-6 porions a day.
I also wondered if the chances of getting cancer by snus is as high as getting it from smoke or chew tobacco? I mean, if you smoke, you should be unlucky if you get cancer. But if you snus you should be really really unlucky?
3 years snussing - absoloutely no problems. I practically chain snus.
Every time you put a snus in, put it in a different place. If you've used snus for a couple of months and you've got a white/yellow dot on your gum, I can't imagine that this is snus causing that - may be salt but I'd doubt it.
