things i can/cannot do snussing...

i use los ettan or general, occasional prima, about a can every other day.
about 5 years now, proficent in all aspects, raw dog out of the can into-mouth.
but i cannot:
-downhill skil, my lip bares back and it smashes the quid up and slides it out
-hike steep uphills...fine downhill or flats...but not uphill snus makes me gag
-drink red bull with a snus in...fine with everything else i drink, but redbull makes my mouth
too syrupy and it ruins the pinch
though i can with a snus in:
-get laid and receive other sex acts (i'm married so it's honest!)
-eat
-sleep

Can't eat with snus in (everything gets stuck to my snus no matter how careful I am)
If i have had a portion in for awhile and the flavor is faded i can get away with sex and other things with the girlfriend.
I can go to the gym/lift/run/bike with snus in
I can drink anything
I can make classes less boring with snus.
I can take a great afternoon nap with it (although all night leaves me with a terrible feeling and upper lip the next day)
I can talk to managers/directors about things I am working on without anyone knowing. Haven even put one in discreetly during a meeting.
Anything I can do without snus I can do with it besides eat. Portion or los although portion does make everything I listed easier. Working with los in once i put it so far in the back of my mouth and it eventually squirted around the edge and turned into a disgusting pile of mud resting in the middle of my mouth on my tongue, it was quite unpleasant. I think there is a tiny little gap near one of my back teeth that causes some kind of suction cup type of vortex for all my snus to come piling into.

I hike all the time with snus (los)......straight up and straight down.......love it

Work out with it (though I tend to use portions for workout)

Long meetings are also portions (the rest of the time los)

I sleep with it in.......but prefer to have it out before I finally drift off......

The one thing I usually avoid is eating with a pris in.......simply because eating obscures the flavor of the snus and in the end leaves the snus sort of spent.

Also I tend to take the snus out during church........out of respect.........it may be silly.......but I'm still a bit old fashion........

Things I can't do:

Things I could do, but choose not to do with a snus in:

Any kind of exercise beyond walking (makes me feel a bit weird), sleeping in my own bed (those brown stains can be a bit tough to get out), performing on stage, showering.

How can you not shower with snus in. It makes me feel like I am missing something. As soon as i wake up i grab one off my night stand and hit the shower. Without snus i just feel....bored...in the shower.

I don't like eating with snus in. I can, and do, but the snus inevitably gets ruined when it mixes with food, so I have to spit it out. Heavy exercise also mangles my snus, but I still do it, though I tend to use less snus. Otherwise, snus is pretty much a permanent part of my life. Aside from obvious things like brushing my teeth, I have snus in.

I portion snus, do not snus with sex, eating and brushing teeth. Actually, usually eat with the snus in and just replace when done. Sometimes have to take out portion in shower if gets too wet and spoils. I always got to bed with a portion in with no issues.

There's no underlying conspiracy theory, Thunder! I just feel that a shower is a clean experience, and to have a snus in while showering would make it feel less refreshing.

Agreed, also the water does get onto a portion and gives your teeth a healthy brown glow afterwards! Plus shampoo and soap don't improve the flavour of snus

No vigorous activity with snus in for me including the gym, challenging hikes, skiing, off road biking. most sports, etc. I love groovin' with my Matrin and enjoying a good snus. Love it with coffee or tea. Love it with a drink.

I love having a sterk in while receiving oral treats but not when delivering for obvious reasons. I don't eat with it in, I don't use it when in important meetings or particular first introductions. Other than that, snus pretty much has weaved itself into my daily existence.

That's the beauty of snus. One can use it pretty much anywhere and while doing anything. There are very few barriers and very little inconvenience (disposal) with snus. It's so discreet and deftly delivers nicotine so I'm very surprised the US market has not capitalized on it yet. There's much less of a social stigma to boot.

Maybe they tend to sing in the shower more. I keep my mouth closed, protecting my snus and my wife's ears.
