This is what I get, and I have to hover for a second before it pops up. Is yours bigger or worse than this?

It is ten times worse.

Mine covers almost the entire page.

Sounds like it might be a browser setting on your end; maybe combined with a small display. What platform and browser are you using?

seems like some of the portable devices have minor issues. Yea check your settings and if you still have a problem let the admin know. There may be some adjustments he can make on the back end. LX knows a lot about this stuff as well.

Personally I use a service dog to do all my computer work. He tells me whats posted and I tell him what to reply and he types it in. Works for me but I really don't know what hes actually posting. Hes become good friends with snusdog.

I actually meant to say that if you are quicker to put the curser on the thread title and click, that the box won't have time to come up. But I suppose you ARE using a handheld device you probably just have to touch it? All my phone does is make phone calls...cuz that's all I'll ever be able to do on a phone. technology is going far too fast for me. ;(

I think you have nailed it. This is a browser issue.

I'm currently using DNA HTC phone but I also use a high end Mac. And this is not a forum problem but as you have so wisely suggested it is the browser.

I took a screen shot of the problem and the damn thing in my photo gallery but I now need to figure out how to copy and paste the thing.

I want you guys to see what I see so you'll know why I thought it was a big deal.

You gotta see this to believe it.

The older you are the larger the pop up to make it easier to see. Bummer for you Dan.

That's it. I get the same little info box on my iMac. It's only 2X3 inches so it is not a problem at all. In fact, its a help not a hindrance. I can see how it would be a nuisance on a hand held device.

While we are at it, I always get a bar on top of the page with Google translation options. Once I click "No translation for this site ever" or something like that, it disappears... but pops up again the next time I visit the site. I have no idea how to disable this forever. Apart from blocking a bit at the top it always painfully reminds me that my English might not be as good as I like to think

"Ref Dan F's latest screenshot he's trying to use one of our Desktop skins on a mobile device. That isn't going to work out well. Surely on a mobile device you select the Mobile skin or prefrably download and install Tapatak, both of which are oprimised for mobile devices."
