    Northerner Snus Initiative

Northerner doesn't currently offer the TillCe Mint flavor but it is available for them to offer if the demand was sufficient. The feedback I received from Northerner was that they felt most customers prefer the Wintergreen over Mint, so the decision was made not to offer Northerner Mint at this time. Personally, I much prefer a Mint flavor to Wintergreen. I only go with the Wintergreen by default, as I prefer Wintergreen over the other flavors available by Northerner but not nearly as much as I would a Mint flavor. Unfortunately, since I live in the U.S., the TillCe Mint carried by Al Capone is not an option due to trademark issues in the U.S. with the Al Capone name.

With that said, making the Mint flavor available under the Northerner brand is going to be on the agenda for the next producers meeting. Are there others out there like myself that feel a Northerner Mint flavor would be a very successful snus addition for Northerner, particularly in the U.S.?

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

Not a big mint user, but I like General mint (not Nordic mint) on occasion. I prefer peppermint. Can't stand wintergreen or spearmint snuses that I've tried, but a little peppermint flavor without added sugars would make my list.

Andy, I feel the same about General. The General regular mint is very good Nordic is too syrupy sweet for me.

I like the General Mini Mint just not strong enough and the drip doesn't cut it at work. A Northerner TillCe Mint would be awesome, if we could get it in the U.S.. Northerner Boost is no longer available in the U.S. and although Boost had some mint undertones it wasn't a true Mint (as in peppermint), so a Northerner Mint would be a great addition to the U.S. lineup. I tried the Lab Fresh Mint but the flavor to me was just too weak and went flat way too quick. A Lab Mint that tasted like the General Mini Mint would be awesome as well.

Try nick and Johnny crushed ice, OP and white if you want a stronger general mint, or the regular sized ones too, but if discreetness is an issue which I am guessing it is then skruf slim fresh May be what you're looking for.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check them out. At work the beauty of Northerner (not a huge wintergreen fan) and Lab (the mint is pretty flavorless to me) is the is the no drip, the ultimate discreetness. It appears that the skruf slim fresh is spearmint...really looking for more of a peppermint.

Too bad the Lab Fresh Mint starts weak and tastes like paper to me after about just 30 min, actually makes my gums feel tired not sore, if that makes sense. A no drip snus option is a must at work, as I have a snus in basically 24/7.

Thunder frosted mini is all I can think of, it's spearmint but not sweet like the general, not sure there are any peppermint snus anymore. Have you tried he new lab mint ones? The other mint one is peppermint iirc but it's a strong portion.

the skruf doesn't taste of spearmint to me, just mint, not sweet, just mint. Skruf white portions has so little drip they should really market it more like SM do with the lab series so I wouldn't worry about drip, which is so minimal with snus anyway, you can't see it so I'm curious about why drip is an issue for you. Other option is to use two portions of the mini mint at once, one each side.

I just bought two tins of the Lab Fresh Mint and thought the flavor starts weak and was gone after about 30 min, at least for me. The General is nice an juicy/tasty a little too much but I like them but too much drip for work. So far Northerner Wintergreen has been the best option, not my favorite flavor but great hit for a mini and totally discreet. I sometimes bottom lip the General Mint just to savor them a little more when not at work. I will double load the Northerners as well, not usually two fresh ones just follow up with a 2nd when the 1st still has some flavor and possibly some vitamin N left, so why waste it.

Drip is an issue because I can't have a light film over my teeth with buildup in between my teeth and deal with co-workers/customers. Believe me I have tried and been busted or had comments made and I have tried the sucking occasional and having water handy but didn't work and unless I carry a mirror around and I really don't wan to have to worry/be conscious of it. So really my only no drip snus options are TillCe or Lab (perhaps Skruff?) that was the reason for my original post. I would love to have a TillCe Mint option in U.S. and I think it would be a big seller for this market. Just need Northerner to brand/distribute the product, as they do with the other TillCe flavors (WG,Citrus, etc..).

I wonder if the OP has tried Stockholm Ice? If not, he should.

Oh that shit is nasty!!!! Its like using a nicotine lozenge, only slightly nicer tasting! Although, for the OPs situation, they would be perfect, no drip, no brown, not much of anything really, but it could get you through until you can use a proper snus. They always just made me want to throw in a snus straight after and taste very artifical.

I too prefer a non flavored traditional snus, but the OP might dig them. EVERY person that I've let try Stockholm Ice has loved it, and there have been MANY. That's more than I can say for regular snus, lol. Only a few have loved regular snus :-)

Me too brother, me too. The real problem is that Americans prefer the sweeter stuff, members of this board excluded of course :-) Most here prefer the more traditional snus flavors, as I do.
