Someone needs to tell SM that Nick and Johnny would make a killing in the US, crushed ice in particular!

I disagree that it would do well, but that's me. That being said, SM will NEVER intro new brands until they feel General is more widely accepted. I personally feel their product is over rated anyway, lol.

Hey Rick, you know the industry, wouldn't it be pretty straightforward for Northerner to add the TilleCe Mint to their lineup to the U.S. since they already offer TillCe purified snus to the U.S. currently and TillCe already produces Mint?

The problem is gaining FDA approval. Many manufacturers want to add new flavors to the lineup, but cannot until they get FDA approval. I'm sick of the FDA's interference.

Rick, TillCe already manufacturers the Mint, so already in lineup.

So wouldn't that make the FDA approval fairly straightforward since Northerner/TillCe is already approved in U.S. and same product info can be filed, as the other Northerner/Tillce snus already approved for U.S? Boost was pulled from U.S. market due to the name and caffeine content, so open slot for the Mint which is probably the most popular flavor in U.S..

You would think, however a new flavor of an existing product is considered a "new" product and must undergo the same approval process as a new product before being marketed or sold in the US. It's a bullshit rule designed to keep new tobacco products from being brought to market

No doubt. I'm sure the flavor difference only would make it easier but still an unnecessary burden and expense. Someone posted on snusgirl that Al Capone Mint would hit the U.S. in 2014 in some form. Have you heard anything on that option?

We shall see, because I know they were having some "issues" getting it into the US.
