He said: your gums are irritated but you didn't harm them that much, he said everything seems like it will heal (I don't know if I said it right). He told me there was know erythoplakia or leukoplakia in my mouth. He also said to stop using snus lol, I told him that it was what I had done.

So everything is quite positive. My cravings are killing me!!!! But i'm less irritable day by day lol.

    Good night!

Again, wish you luck but I think another forum such as http://www.killthecan.org/ or another similar forum would be better suited for your goals/interests.

Frankly, I personally find your posts annoying and not a contribution to the spirit of this site.

oh, I'm sorry I didn't think I annoyed you. I hope I don't annoy anybody else. I asked if I could have a place to write a journal of my experience to help myself and others trying to quit and Premium Parrots allowed me to do so. Personnally I really like the community. You guys are awesome. A lot of people shared their experience here too and I like how things have been going in this thread. I don't condemn snus, in fact I love it. Is there a way you can block me so you don't see my posts anymore?

But If the majority of the community wants me to leave. And if I'm annoying everybody, I'll leave. I just like to talk to you guys.

So please, people in this thread, do you want me to leave the forum, or do you want me to stay.

And again I apologize if I annoyed you

Hey it is not my place to say what you can or can't say on this site I am not a moderator. Just a suggestion to go to http://www.killthcan.org/ . Does that not make sense to you with your goal to quit? I think it is a good idea to have a support group, so doesn't a forum that is designed to do that better suited for you? Btw, I edited my message prior to your reply so not sure how it was quoted in your reply. I felt it was a little strong, so I removed the annoyed by your post reference. I don't need to block your posts. I was asking "you" if the kick the can site makes better sense for your goals, so does it? I wasn't asking for a forum poll, if you should stay or go. That is your call or the moderators. You only joined in March of 2014, so can't really see how any deep bonds have formed but like I said the support you are seeking, if sincere, is specific for your needs at kick the can.

Also you stated "I asked if I could have a place to write a journal of my experience to help myself and others trying to quit" This is specifically what kick the can has setup. On Snuson, it is more about about the enjoyment of using snus not quitting and typically people that have an interest in using snus were previous smokers or dippers and are looking for a healthier alternative or long time snus users that just want to share their enjoyment/experiences. A lot of us are proud that we no longer smoke or dip and your posts are really counter that. We all know how to quit, so personally I don't want or need to see a journal of how to quit snusing on this site, as their is plenty of sites all over the web for that type of information.

        So to my fellow snusers...SnusOn!!

Kill The Can is a wonderful site for those who enjoy humiliation and self-flagellation. It's members somehow find it morally uplifting to make themselves miserable.

            what, for real? How come?

You know it's what I like about snus on, I'm not quitting because of cancer because it doesn't happen with snus. I'm quitting because I can do it. I wanna be happy and keep on talking about snus

Well that is not what your posts said "I want this to stop and I'm dead scared of cancer". Since you recently popped in with your tale of woes about loving but needing to quit, I half wonder whether your intention from the get go was simply to infiltrate this site to encourage others on this site to quit using snus following your "how to quit snusing journal". Frankly, your story doesn't add up to me. You have snused for two years using regular tobacco taste...not really snuser lingo? Why didn't you find this site when you were supposedly in the snuson mode for two years? Then you developed mouth sores from just starting to use the "minty" taste but you can't go back to the snus that you had no issues with for two years because you just can't live without the minty flavor you just started using? Then you say you want to quit just because you can do it but still want to talk about snus on snuson because you love snus? Shakey man...

I've gone six days without Oreos! I'm still gonna snus, though.

Woah, I think you got it all wrong here. do you really think I have a secret agenda? Like I'm working with the NSA or something? Yeah, you are totally right, I wanted to infiltrate the site to make people stop snusing cause it's bad, I'm a health spy sent by obamacare.

this is ridiculous, maybe you don't like my posts but why so much hate

The site is SnusOn not SnusOff.

Did I say Obama or NSA? Not sure what your agenda or issues really are but pretty much covered my views on this thread. In hindsight, I should have just let this thread/topic die on the vine, so I'm out.

                        piks101, what the hell? Haha.

This is a website for Snus in general, and that involves quitting as well, what are you getting upset about? Are people not allowed to quit tobacco or what?

Agree about general snus discussion, my point was that this a pro snus site hence the name SnusOn and the main page with instruction on how to use Snus, sure topics are broad but the foundation is snus usage, perhaps I missed the how to quit snus section? My point was simply that Nicadicts interest would be better served on a quit smokeless tobacco specific forum such as www.killthecan.com or www.quitsnus.com. If you want to take Nicadict under your wing be my guest. As for continuing, quitting or starting, I am all for personal choice.

I think a thread like this fits good here at SnusOn. It's not like the community is drowning is snus quitting threads, so why not let this be? I've seen this so many times, people seeking help to quit for various reasons, and seeking it from experienced snus users, at the community they love and have been at for a long time, and still get shot down. Sure, we are here because we quit smoking and love using snus (or just love using snus without ever smoking), but I think we still should support the people who want to rid themselves of the tobacco habit too. You come across jealous that he took the step because you can't, or why else would you react so strongly?

I snus and vape my ass off, and love it, but I will still support the people who make an effort to quit. It's f*cking difficult, and requires some balls to do for sure. I managed to quit once for a few months, several years back. It was absolutely terrible. I will probably be an addict for life, but as long as I'm not smoking cigarettes anymore, I'm happy with that.

Props to Nicadict for taking the step though!

Well, obviously I disagree that the thread fits good on SnusOn, the exception being a a longtime member seeking to quit, as you mentioned but nicadict just joined this month (8 days and counting), so my point is this is not the best place to start for a new member wanting to quit. Congrats on your few months of quitting, I have gone over 10 years nicotine free, so I know of what I speak and as for being jealous of nicadict, hardly. The only reason I decided to partake again was that I loved the positive attributes that nicotine provides but not the negative health aspects of using cigarettes as the delivery vehicle. Thank you Snus and SnusOn, I get the good without the bad, or if bad, so negligible imo that I don't worry a jot about it.

Good points heders, but I agree with piks101 on this item. It just seems strange that one would join a site for enthusiasts of something only to immediately announce to the community that they are done with it. That being said, I wish Nicaddict the best of luck kicking the habit but if he is looking for support he might be better off to look elsewhere.
