    Just Ordered, UPS notification question

I've ordered several orders and never seen this.

Exception! 03/08/2014 4:44 P.M. UPS has obtained documentation and submitted to Food & Drug Administration and/or department of AG/PPQ;awaiting response.

    What's going on now?

I think this is probably just a standard random check. Remember, a part of why UPS prices increased after PACT is that they now serve as your broker, expediting your shipment through this and other processes like it.

I expect it will only delay the package by a day or so......... and may result in you getting one of those double charge notices stating that you owe UPS $6 in custom fees (the price of which is already factored into their shipping charge....thus the double charge).......so you throw the notice away and enjoy your snus.
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Awesome I only have 1 day off and ordered this so I would be home to sign for it. Now this will make it hard for me to arrange a time to get it. I work 930 am to 11 pm.

At least it's cold outside most everywhere n my Snus won't risk drying up or spoiling. My run of terrible luck continues.

I use the delivery address with my name c/o UPS Hold for Pickup with UPS address and my cell number. Works best for me, as I can pick-up at my convenience from UPS. Also, I can pick-up at 8am vs waiting for driver to come later that afternoon and worrying that if no one is home no snus for day.

You can check the tracking of the package and have it re-routed to a UPS facility for pick up during their regular hours, $ 5.

I live right by a UPS distribution facility, so I always have my snus orders routed there and pick them up on my way to work.

If you become a UPS My Choice member, which is free, you can reroute the package to a facility online. It's way more convenient than worrying about being home to sign for the package.

Agree with the previous posts. Slight inconvenience, but not a blown up order. Delayed gratification, my man. Let us know when you're snusing your head off.

Well with Northerner, I just the UPS address from the get go. Can pick-up as early a 8:00am and I have a UPS facility 10 minutes away. There can be delays, so even AM delivery you are tied to your house to sign for package.

You're lucky. I'm not very close to UPS, and they never come at the same time twice. I always spend delivery day looking down the road, like a kid waiting for the ice cream truck.

I hear you. I have done that many times and really want to be the one to receive the stash not my wife... haha. You can also use the address of a UPS store or authorized shipping center. Did you look at that option. Also, if you have a local business close to your house that is also a good option.

Just curious, from which company did you make your order?

I think that's standard. When you check the tracking of a package there is a list of where its been and where its going and the clearances and such. Is it possible that UPS simply started sending email notifications at each location? If that's the case there won't be any delay.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                              I ordered from Snus Central.

It says that it should be here by Tuesday now and not Monday, signed up on UPS to see about setting delivery times, so I signed up with that MyUPS or whatever it is called to do that. After I created an account and clicked to set a delivery window it then says I need to be a PREMIUM member, lol, so what is the point of the free account. So that is $40 a year plus $5 per package. So no thanks.

I did not see anywhere where I could pay for this to be delivered before a certain time. That option does not exist.

Also, the UPS and the FedEx facilities around here are laughable at best. The few times I went to pick up my package they had no idea where it was or if it was even taken off the truck. Always takes at least 30 mins for them to figure out there stuff.

Any FedEx is just terrible. I have had an issue with EVERY order from them except 1 time. Either something is broken, or they deliver it to the wrong address, so on and so on. I actually avoid retailers that ship using FedEx.
