Does the UK require these new 'fire safe' cigarettes? I've never tried one as they became mandatory in my state a few years after I stopped smoking. Many local smokers have been complaining about the taste and an increase in price.

Yes, as, it was quietly introduced EU wide a few years ago, the fsc tasted like carpet glue!

I like how the US cities are banning e-cigs, because you know, they LOOK like smoking. You know it really is about 'health."

It's because non-users are afraid of dying from second-hand gratification. They thought that they won that war by kicking smokers outside. "How DARE you find a suitable replacement for cigarettes!"

The other day I saw someone vaping in a restaurant. I never saw that before. After his meal he pulled a rather large refillable unit out of his pocket and took one big drag. Then he looked so happy.

If the UK has these fire safe cigarettes then perhaps the bird and the cig didn't cause the fire. Unless it was one of these cigarettes.

                    ~~
They introduced the fire safe cigarettes shortly before I quit smoking here in Wisconsin. I started buying my cigs over the border in Illinois because they tasted weird and went out if you weren't constantly taking puffs off of them. So, hey, these cigs won't cause a fire, but we're gonna make you smoke them faster so they don't go out. lol
