Cross snus contamination?

All of the snus I've opened so far from today's order have a whiff of Elixyr PE about them, and it comes through in the taste... is it possible there's been some flavour seepage? Will it go away?

Has my need for caffeine spoiled my Gotlands Gul? :cry:

Yes it has... I've opened my other cans and they all smell like hospital.

Should I complain to buysnus? I know it's not really their fault, but I want my snus the way it was intended!

I've ordered a roll of the power energy along with a can of gotlands grey, and a free can of random snus... I fear they shall have the same fate.

It might be useful to store the Elixyr in a seperate container in the fridge far away from the other snus for now and see if the other cans improve..

All the cans are sealed so any smell that was transferred shouldn't be a permanent thing I would think......or should I say hope....I would cry if my Gul was contaminated....

Can't really blame Buysnus either IMO.

Ps: Now I will def never order Elixyr...not that I had ever intended to either....Grov and espresso is all the caffeine/nicotine combination I need..

Hmm it may be possible that the taste of the Elixyr has just stayed in my mouth, I have a pris of Goteborgs Rape in at the moment and can still taste it. I'm going to use some mouthwash later and try again. I hope it's just residual flavouring.

FWIW, I have never had cross contamination problems, and I have Elyxr cans coming out the ying yang, opened in the fridge, closed in the freezer, mixed up with everything else. Strange, very strange.

I recommend storing the Elixyr in the trashcan, and pouring yourself a nice cup of coffee with a pris of Landströms ;^)

Well it seems to have affected the smell of at least the snus packaging, but most of the snus is new to me so I don't know what it smells like. I'm pretty confident that the flavour is left behind in my mouth by the Elixyr and isn't in the snus itself.

I was just freaking out a little. Well, a lot...

No coffee for me thanks! It's too much hassle to make, even instant! Like I said in the other thread I didn't sleep last night and I've had about 3 of these and I feel as though I would on any other day.
