    Skruf Stark los

So, trying my first pris of Skruf Stark...definitely WAY better than portion! Much less of that aching burn that the portions give me, and much nicer delivery of the flavors. I can taste the rose oil and bergamot, but also a nice, bold tobacco flavor. Oh, and the one thing I didn't mention right off the bat...SWEEEET nic kick! It's holding together is, I would say, average; not as sticky as Offroad, but better than Phantom. I have yet to try RL or Ettan, which most of you guys say holds together very well, hopefully they'll be in my next mix order from buysnus. Also, my birthday is coming up in September...will I get an Icetool? I hope so...

Mine too. It has everything I require. Taste, strength, complexity and larger cut. Sticky enough to bake, but farmer style rocks it.

I'm one of the very few here that doesn't like Skruf products that much. They're ok, but they have a peculiar burn in the back of my throat that I used to get from 100% Virginia smoking tobacco. I'd use it if that was all that was available, but there's many other snus' I like better.

I love skruf stark. It is my favorite los. Followed by General and Probe. I keep Phantom O. and Blue tied for third.

Skruf Stark has such a great taste to me. I like something simple and familiar. I've never had a can go funky or dry up on me. I like the portions too, though they give me a numb feeling on my tongue and lip.

Sometimes when you want to snus you want something deep, layered, and complex that develops and can be enjoyed for the experience.
When you just want to snus utilitarian and get to it to get the job done with no frills Skruf Stark is it.
I love it with hot coffee, after dinner, pretty much when I would normally in the past have turned to my cigarettes.
I'm packin my can to Pittsburgh Sunday to the Crue Fest concert.

Late in the evening is when I branch out and get high brow with my snusing.
Whenever I try to convert someone to snusing I offer skruf stark.

I loved Skruf Stark at first.

Then it seemed the extra nicotine started making my anxiety worsen.

I loved the Skruf Original Portions, just wish it was an original los they offered.

I still have 4 cans frozen as back up along with 2 others.

Finally narrowed down what I like and what i Love, havent found a bad snus

I posted a couple days ago about my taste buds going crazy. General was just not doing it for me anymore.

I ordered some Gotlands Yellow, Probe, and Skurf Stark los.

Have not tried the Probe yet. Threw the Gotlands away after 4 uses. That stuff is weak and the flavour was like a lemon cream pie.

I have had my first pris of Skurf in for about 2 hours now. I will say, I am very happy right now.

                It is 7:23 am..

I am on my second pris of Skurf. I love the taste, texture, and wake up power it has.

If it stays this way, I have found my #1 los.

It is good stuff, I just wish Skruf would reintroduce a Skruf original los. And yes, I know that that's basically what knox is, but I mean something with a similar flavor to Skruf Stark just with a normal dose of nic. I find that if I use more than two prises or so, I get headaches or jumpy...it's just not good. But I do love the flavor!

I got a can of Skruf Original lös from Norway and mailed Skruf to find out if I can get it online. No response. Kind of hacked me off that their customer service is non-existent...

So I would hazard a guess that it is only available in Norway at this stage (or it may have been discontinued in other markets)

I would suggest that you mail Skruf and ask them. Reference this forum like I did and if we are lucky they will take a page out of the other manufacturer's who frequent this forum's book and come and answer our questions

I have a pris of Skruf Stark Lös under my lip right now. It's indeed an extremely good brand, that everyone should just try. The flavor is certainly not the best I've ever experienced (compared to the portions, which taste more balanced IMHO). I don't find the nic-kick overwhelmingly strong, just pleasingly strong. It's not a love-or-hate snus, I guess, but I also don't think that it could be 'everybody's darling'. It's absolutely worth a try, no doubt.

                      Cheers!

Out of all the strong portion snus I have tried (Skruf Stark, General Sterk, and N&J regular) I will have to say that Skruf Stark is my absolute favorite, since it has a pleasant aroma, good amount of nicotine, pure tobacco taste, and a subtle hint of sweetness. However, I only use strong portion snus, since I have a high nicotine tolerance and it saves money as opposed to using lower nicotine portions. I wish more strong portion snus would be released!

@ snusjus: I respectfully disagree with you, my friend. The market already has N&J, N&J west/east, mocca+, skruf stark, general sterk, Offroad cranberry strong, etc, etc, etc. Not that I look down on or disapprove of portion snus, but the market seems a bit soft on los selection. I wish that a company would introduce a line of los snus that was a collection of tobacco-dominant snus, a la Ettan, and to a lesser degree General. A line of tobacco-dominant los snus would cater to the segment of the market who like something simple, but classy. I think that if it were 3-5 blends that range from a mellower tobacco flavor up to a bold, spicy flavor would really be enjoyable for those of us who like that tobacco flavor without a whole lot of flavoring covering it up. I appreciate some bergamot or a hint of citrus or anise to add complexity, but I definitely prefer the foreground flavor to be of tobacco.

And for those of you who don't think I used the word 'tobacco' in that post enough:
Tobacco, tobacco, tobacco, tobacco, tobacco, tobacco, tobacco. There. That should about do it.

Skruf Stark was the best part of that concert I went to.

Motley Crue almost made me puke, The boob cam was cool and all, but after a certain age no one should sport leather pants and make up. Vince Neil will haunt my nightmares for a while now.

                            BuckCherry was bad ass though.
So was tailgating. Who doesn't like a good game of corn hole, some beer and whiskey, and passing out some beads to the females.
