    Snus making me sick

    Hi all.

I have been snusing about a year now. I migrated over from kodiak. I used general for about 7-8 months and then started trying other brands. I quickly found that certain brands/flavors make me sick. And I do mean sick. Its not nicotine content as I can still put a big wad of kodiak in with no bad issues. Its something thats being put into the snus.

So far general regular los or portion is okay. The gen mint makes me ill. Any odens makes me sick. Offroad is fine. The ving stuff makes me sick. Goteborgs is fine. Just tried ettans los and its fine. Onyx is fine. So on and so forth.

So whats going on here? This is weird. Anyone else going through this? Is it something in the process?

    Thanks

It is the new mandated FSC snus (jk). Seriously, snus is a food grade product. It is not what is in the snus but perhaps what is in a particular snus flavor(s) that you react to. Just like any food product there could be a food additive that your body is allergic to. I would start with comparing the ingredients of flavors that make you sick and see if they share any common additive/ingredients. In the meantime, just stick with the snus flavors that do not make you sick, General regular, Offroad, Goteborgs, Ettans, and Onyx.

I agree with Piks. I had some issues with Skruf, I'm pretty sure that it's because of the rose oil.

      Check the ingredients.

I figured it was the ingredients. Alot of what is listed for some of these products is pretty vague. Heres from the odins. preservative (E 1520), acidity regulator (E 501), aromas.

Going to stick with my main brands and try stuff one can at a time instead of buying a brick. Last night was my first can of Ettans Los. Great product. Holds its shape much better than any other Los I have tried.

        Thanks
