How much is Snus in Sweden ?

    A question for the floor

how much is Snus in Sweden? if I were to head out to the motherland how much could i expect to pay say, for a roll of
Roda Lacket, Ettan or Grov ? does anyone have any RECENT experience which may shed some light . And is there a good place to go
    with competitive prices. Thanks

It depends. Budget brands like kaliber go for about 25 kronor, a little over 4 bucks. Nicer brands like general are about 55 crowns, about 8 bucks. I got a roll of Göteborgs Rape for about 56 bucks duty-free at the airport the last time I left, I don't know if you can get it for much cheaper than that. Honestly, it's not going to be any less than going online. Where where you thinking of going? There is an awesome place in Gothenburg called Snus2 which is like a snus candy store, they will have anything you can find online retail. Most swedes use unflavored, so that's the majority of what you find in the corner stores and 7 elevens.

I hadn't really got that far yet, but i stimbled on this snus2 place you mention through google. I think I will probably got to Goteborg, although i would maybe quite like to go the place in Stockholm where they make the Kardus. I am just thinking in case the whole internet sales thing goes tits up if it is still viable for me use snus , whether i should start learning to grow and make my own instead . I'll probably do both. I quite want to go to Sweden anyway and have a little Snus holiday at some point .

Very interesting topic since I'm going to Sweden too in July.

I'll be in Stockholm, do you know a good tobacco store there?

Furthermore, can I buy rolls at the airport even if I'm travelling inside the EU?

When you buy buy online you're not paying Swedish taxes, most of the cost is tax, but the choice is phenomenal!

Yes you can buy it in the airport, it's not illegal to sell in Sweden so buy away, airport isn't cheap and it's not duty free if you're travelling within the EU. The snusador at Arlanda airport is quite something but most of the shops in and around Stockholm are much much cheaper.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll buy snus in Stockolm, I don't see any advantage from buying it at the airport. I'm not flying from Arlanda but from Skavsta, anyway I won't have the duty free prices.
I'll definitely visit the SM shop/museum.
For buying snus I guess that the shops are more or less the same. I hope that they'll let me have a look around... It would be awkward if in France or Italy you enter a tobacco shop and start staring at the brands

10, the 5 can rolls are the duty free ones as in Norway it's by weight so 10 or portions or 5 lös.
