Not jealous really ... I love snus.

I think the point I was trying to make with excess sarcasm is that I don't think quitting tobacco can be that easy for everyone simply because it was easy for one person. If it was that easy ... I suspect that almost everyone would do it! After all - consumption of tobacco in any form is an extremely expensive hobby.

It's a very common thing for people who are successful in giving up an addictive substance to underestimate what a massive thing they've just achieved and then shout from the rooftops that it's easy and that everyone should do it. I don't think there's a person here who doesn't know in their heart that giving up all tobacco would be an amazing thing both for their health and their wallets. We all know that if you simply stop taking snus and then put up with the side-effects of withdrawal then it is possible. So maybe there's a little jealousy too.

Well done CzechCzar ... seriously ... well done. I'm just happy not to be smoking any more and can live with the health improvements that snus gives me over smoking.

      heya guys...

very sorry i was not trying to brag. in terms of health, i think I'm practically no better off now, because snus is so safe. I just stopped it because of my daughter. Don't want her growing up with an addicted dad.

And, let me correct the impression: it was not easy. at all. but it was much easier for me than going without food for three days!!

I think that this thread has been going on so long that I forgot about the beginning of it! Hence my reaction.

The website says that these capsules are a combination of artichoke and foreskin! I hope they're working for you. I might get some for a laugh but frankly they look like a 21st century snake oil to me. The placebo effect is an amazing thing - even in a cynic like me.
