No the vaping wasn't causing the cigarette cravings . I was withdrawing from the alkaloids in snus . But as soon as i put snus in my mouth anxiety gets worse builds up more and more until it ends in a massive cigarette craving . Haven't snused for two days , just vaping and although i am in withdrawal from alakloids i feel 10x better , no panick attacks , no major craving , just feeling a little unsatisfied and edgy , but that is nothing compared to what snus has been doing to me . I hope that in about a week the alakloids will be completely out of my system and if i continue to stay away from tobacco in any form i may be ok and actually manage to stop smoking . I don't know why it didn't occur to me before stop using snus and see how i felt

I suppose my brain recognises the full signature of the tobacco plant and expects a massive wallop of nicotine and a buzz , but gets something very different with snus ; i am left in a state of suspended expecttion which gradually builds into a full blown cigarette craving . Going in and out of this cycle has been hell , and although vaping only has challenges of it's own they seem to be much less so than it was with snus . I will be sticking to vaping from now on

This is a new one to me...........

          Now because I chain snus.........I don't feel the nic.....but I do feel non-nic

In other words, if I go without for a while without nicotine I can tell.............thus if there were occasional "bad batches" of snus.....with low nicotine.......... I think I would notice it..........The point is that in all my years of snusing I have never had anything like this happen......so my hunch is that it is not due to occasional "bad batches"

Given that.........the only thing I can think of that might explain the experience you are having is body chemistry........and maybe its fluctuating nature is due to something eaten........Thus it might be worth paying attention to diet.....maybe if it is a food that is causing the reaction you might be able to identify which food it is.......

One more thought........if you are dealing with any sort of chemical depression (you mentioned feeling sad and insecure in your post)..........it may be these fluctuations in the body chemistry that are behind your body's interaction (or lack there of) with the nicotine.

          otherwise, you got me.
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I spent a day in Hospital last week. Colonoscopy. No Snus for 8 hours.
The lack of cravings,in comparison to when I smoked heavily, was unbelievable.
            Snus is a different animal.

So you get the faster reaction times, more motivation, mindfog goes away and all the other batman cognitive powers?

Exactly. There's no crime in MY neighborhood, thanks to snus...and my Batmobile.

And then one prilla will be like wow i feel normal and awesome again! What could it be? Any similar experiences?
I move my snus around to different areas of my mouth to prevent my gums from getting "rough" and I think it helps to use different mucous membranes from time to time.

Ok, so nic/snus is kick starting your brain just not reliably. It sounds like you need additional supplements to help boost the effectiveness.

So popping a snus for you everytime gives you the performance effects that nic gives?
""the literature on chronic tolerance to nicotine in humans is reasonably consistent in showing clear evidence of tolerance to subjective mood effects but little or no tolerance to cardiovascular, performance or other nicotine effects, within the limitations inherent in most human research on tolerance. I've been snusing on one side for a long time, could that of made it so it roughed up and didn't give me nicotine anymore?

Not sure of your point...do I feel the same experience every time I snus?... no... but my moods, clear thining are pretty consistent. I have used both the supplements I mentioned plus I avoid gluten 98% of the time. Also, MCT oil is awesome for brain functioning.
