Is it easy for you to reduce the amount of snuses per day?

Topic! i've noticed when i snus alot i feel depressed/stressed and worried all the time, so i've been cutting down and i feel way better. What about you guys? I'm gonna keep my pouches in for atleast 2 hours from now on.

And on another note i think nicotine tolerance is VERY different from other drugs, you really only build tolerance to the nic kick and never to the theraupetic effects, i think alot of people snus way more than they should because the highter the doseage the more it acts as a depressant(and gives too much acetylocholine which is bad) instead and they just want more and more of that little 'kick' they used to get when they can just lower their use, what are your guys thoughts?

Cutting back never really worked out for me. When I switched from dip to snus I had this naive idea I would start out in the high nic range and then keep going down and down and eventually quit. Well the flavor i like best thunder frosted doesn't go down in nic much and I find most of the flavors offered at 8mg/g to not taste as good and then at 6mg/g they only make general silver which i'm not even sure if they make anymore. Below that is the Northerner or whatever its branded as now stuff at 4mg/g which I don't like. Putting more time between snuses doesn't sit well with me either. It seems like I just purge and keep shoveling it in later.

Shortly after i started snusing about 3 years ago I gave up that hope that I would cut down how I planned but I have recently acquired an ecig and have already cut my nicotine in half. I still carry around a can of snus for places where vaping would not be appropriate like class and at the office. I can usually get through a typical 4 hour shift at work with only 1 snus and I have not felt like I needed snus at all during class as long as I can sneak to my car and vape for a few minutes after my second class ends and I have a small break until my third. My only real struggle right now is my Saturday work schedule which is long and busy and I easily go through atleast 4 snuses.

I hear what you say about depression I guess I kind of work the same way. I have stopped going to bed anytime after ten. About a year ago I found myself up at 2-3am with heavy snus use and felt oddly depressed for no apparent reason during these times.

Here is a pretty good link too -
      http://mindrenewal.us/page13.html
High acetylocholine symptoms. I find i see some of them in there when i snus alot. Today i have been cutting down easy as pie and i notice such greater clarity. I find myself more happy and motivated. With heavy use everything seemed like a blur looking back at it. It feels like the first times i first started snusing again (without the nicotine kick ofcourse)

Can i say less is more?

I mean nicotine is a parasympathomimetic alkaloid "A parasympathomimetic drug is a drug or poison that acts by stimulating or mimicking the parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS)" Which is like nicotine takes over normal acetylocholine and you can control it easily with nicotine, you don't need "more" to get the same effects as before. Do you guys know what im trying to say? (im swedish)
So you wanna feel amazing 24/7? Snus less!

Agree/disagree? Would love to hear opinions/experiences!

I think it is easy to go overboard and snus unconsciously and overdue it. I think setting in interval every hour, every 2 hours, 3 etc... is best. If you do overdue it just take a break and make sure to get something in your stomach and have some water etc... I don't get depressed per se but I can get a little nauseous/tired from time to time if I over do it by chaining.

Personally, I think class would be ideal for snusing rather then having to vape in your car. I know you don;t like Northerners due to being weaker but they are perfect for work/school situations, try doubling up. Also, Swedish Match carriers a new product call ZYNnt that are the same size as Northerners but have more flavors and are just nicotine derived from tobacco. The pouches are all white including the contents which is unique and even more discreet.

I'm trying to eliminate snus from my school routine. There have been too many times I've thrown one in during an exam to find it was busted and then thats swimming in my mouth the entire time. Or the exam takes a long time and im sitting with this disgusting dried out snus portion in my mouth. Then on the other hand sitting through a 2 hour exam without snus was equally as bad.

If you can throw one in during an exam, why can't you take it out or replace it, when it's done? No containers allowed?
I guess that you could line your tin with answers, and they'd probably frown on that.

Maybe think about switching the snus you use..pouch busting?...tasting bad, dried out, disgusting after just a few hours? I typically sleep with a snus in...doesn't dry out, taste bad or bust..not even once? I would rather have a snus in during a long stressful exam then jonesing for a nic hit and have to wait an excessive amount of time to chain vape like a fiend in my car.

No it's not like that. Exams are not really stressful I just tend to suck the hell out of the thing while tapping my calculator and it dries out or busts open....happens in all brands and flavors when taken to the extreme like that. So far I can go a pretty decently long time without nicotine unless I'm at work.

As an FYI....I also have the same product, named Stockholm Ice and it will be distributed nationwide very shortly :-)

For me (ex-smoker) the cravings for snus are "different", not as intense as when I smoked cigs. I've always used strong or extra strong snus, but also regular strength portions/los, but I keep all my portions for at least two hours. If I can still taste the flavor, then I'm good. I know it's psychological because I know that the nicotine is gone after about 40 minutes. However, I do occasionally use an e-cig or smoke a pipe, but only occasionally. I do find that I have difficulty sleeping at night, but I've always had trouble in that department. The ONLY time snus makes me feel ill is on the days that I skip breakfast and I've had a lot of nic and caffeine, but once I grab something to eat...I'm good to go.

I intermittent fast every damn day. Heh.

Its probly y I cant handle snus very well.

I like to be phukin lit up. But its just too much now. I cant sometimes even handle a full portion.

I see rickcharles that when u eat u can snus again. Too bad. When you fast alot you get senses. Real ones. You sense things before.
To snus or not to snus. That is not the question

I am also an ex-smoker (dip is non existant in México) and I think, as Rick does, that cravings between snus and cigarettes are very different.

Cigarette craving were too strong, I needed a cig as soon as possible. Snus is more like a "I would like to pop one in right now but I can easily wait for an hour and it's ok"
