I'm a potion guy, I tried Ettan Vit and got very little flavor and didn't like the flavor I did get. My question for you is ... does the Ettan regular portions taste different or at least more?
I don't mind trying new brands but don't want to waste money if it's close to the white portions.

I'm not a fan of white portions in any brand. The regular has more flavor, and I don't think it loses the flavor significantly faster. The Ettan regular will have more flavor, but it won't be significantly different than the white portion. There's less difference between regular/white portion snus than there is in lös/portion snus

I'd try the regular, but I'm not sure how much different the flavor itself would be.
I'm finding out that I'm not a big fan of white portions either. Feels like a dry rag for a few minutes and just trickles of flavor afterwards. And if the so-called flavor lasted longer, I don't want a portion in my mouth for more than 45-60 minutes anyhow.

Ettan Los is the way to go but if your are not into los the regular portion is better then the white.

Ditto! There's nothing left to say, other than that the Lös is simply great. I wonder what went wrong when Swedish Match designed the portions. BTW, I only tried the original portions more than one year ago and they were barely acceptable. To try the whites, which I overall find worse than the originals, never came to my mind.

Well I've always been disappointed with Ettan up until today. The white ones seemed like more salt than flavour to me, and the los was good but I couldn't quite get to grips with the strength of the smoky leathery thing going on. So I've settled on Prima Fint for my basic tobacco flavoured snus.

So I got my Northerner order through today which had a can of Ettan original portions thrown in and they're fantastic!

Really loads of great chocolatey and tobacco flavour - still a quite salty but the stronger flavour balances it out nicely. They're good drippy brown original portions too - so they start working from the word go.

I have to agree. Ettan is one of favorites along with Grov and Lucky (all original).

Due to popular opinion an can or 2 of Ettan (portion) will be in my next order. Thanks for the advice.
So far the only White I really like is Retro. Goteborgs #2 was merely OK. I think next order I will have no white portions. I usually only have one in for a hour or less, so flavor starting sooner is a bonus.

I love Ettan los but i was like you.

I had the Ettan White portions and they were just gross.

I have found that the only white portions I like are Onyx and i get regular for all the rest.

Regular Portions seem to last just as long as white but have a better flavor.

I haven't tried the white portions, however, I really like the original portions, and the los is straight amazing.

I cracked a can of roda lacket vit today. This is the first white that I like enough to buy more.
