From cigs to snus to vaping. Back to my beloved snus!

Hello good people. I started using snus back in the good ol' pre PACT days (June 2009). I made a few posts here on the forum but was never too active. I am surprised my account is still active. Well, the high price of shipping and being stationed overseas unfortunately ultimately made snus impractical. I bought my last can about two years ago as I transitioned to ecigs. Started with the gas station disposable types then started getting in bigger and better Vaping devices/mods and all that stuff. Finally I got fed up with all the hassle of faulty equipment, cleaning and replacing coils, occasional dry hits.

The time and money I was putting into this was getting excessive. I missed the simple days of putting a portion in and just enjoying it. I'm currently living in the Philippines and thought I'd try my luck ordering some snus. I ordered four rolls of portions (never got into the los). I got General classic, Ettan, Skruff Tranbar, and a new one for me, Byron. I just received my order with no customs issues and popped in a General. Man, that wonderful aroma and taste brings back some fond memories. So glad to be back to my old friend Snus!

Cool I did the same thing. I have been off snus for 1 month, now I vape. I was tired of paying $18 for a can of General every two days, and when I ordered online customs would just slap me in the face. I would love to go back to snus, but there is no way to justify $9 a day... Vaping is costing me about $50 a month instead of over $200.

Wow chibre, I can definitely see why you made the switch. And I thought I was spending a lot. I was fortunate to not get hit by customs with my most recent snus order. Four rolls including shipping set me back $138, so $3.45 a can. I can't complain. Truthfully I did enjoy the vaping experience. The vast types of devices and seemingly unlimited juice flavors was definitely fun. That said, now that I've been back on suns exclusively, I am satisfied with my decision. When I vaped, even with high nicotine juice I craved the very occasional smoke. Now that I'm snusing again I can feel a more steady stream of nicotine and have no desire to smoke anymore. I do have two bottles of e-juice (a new sour apple flavor and blueberry cheesecake) sitting unopened in the cabinet. One of these days I might just bust them out and enjoy the new treat. For now I'm elated to be back to snus. Isn't it great we have options
