Best way to taper down from a higher strength?

To a lower strength? The stronger ones just makes me feel stressed out constantly and the lower strength ones now feels like im not even snusing i feel dumb and sad lol.

My only suggestion would be to use 8 mg snus with a "bold" flavor, worked for me......but flavor trumps strength for me...

I would just switch to 8mg like others have recommended. I go back and forth between the two with little notice
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

get a nicotine free or a low nicotine one. use that for a bit then switch to the strength you want. the low nic/ nic free will just feel to you like you say the lower nic feels to you, but your body nicotine level will drop and tolerance will drop so when you use higher nicotine ones you will feel the difference more.

I alternate between cans, between starks/extrastark/extreme and normal 8 mg. I also alternate between OP and WP and also between flavors

Is there a way to lower the plateu tolerance? Like going without snus for a week or something and start out with a cheaper brand with less freebased nicotine or something?

I had this situation and found the solution for me easier than i first thought.

The night before you are ready to switch to 8mg use your sterks as usual right up to bed but take out your sterk before you fall asleep. You go through withdrawel from the sterk while you are asleep. When you wake up you put an 8mg in and continue from then on to use 8mg.

I say don't taper down, you just can't use the ekstra sterks as much as you would the regulars. You will quickly get used to and appreciate the extra nicotine.

Source: been using General ES for years and at first it kicked my ass, now they just mellow me out.
