born again snus user, after 4 years....

Howdy fellow snussers! I quit cigs and started snus in 2009., then started smoking again 2 years later. Don't ask me why, it was a conscious decision, a retarded one and for no real reasons AFAIR.
Now i'm back to snus and back to this place and the forum seems less busy than before... I get the feeling that people snus for a few years then quit, or at least stop posting on forums. Am I crazy?

I still snus only but the forum is not that exciting after many years. Once you get used to the new habit it kinda doesn't need to be talked about as much. Plus where's PP, roo, bigblue1 and alot of other posters? I think they still just use snus, but stopped posting on the forum, like me. So just keep snus'n and don't worry about relapsing to ciggs. Also there are still plenty of long term snusers posting like Squeezy, whalen, skelly, etc, so I think you are wrong about your assumption.

Yeah, you're right, I posted without thinking. After all, I myself posted rarely, was mostly a lurker, and after a few months knew the stuff and wasn't so eager to discuss it... Plus, forums are not so frequent in the age of Facebook generally.

Kum Good to have you back mate. I think Snuffy's take on things is spot on.

With all the PACT and EU regulations it is so much more of a hassle to get snus.........back in the day companies were releasing new flavors and it was cheep enough to order a few cans on a whim and try the new offerings.......this tended to generate conversation and new things to talk about.........anyway still a lot of great folks and a lot of new folks to help out along the way........so jump in and join the fun

I made this profile a while after I started snusing again and I had a few questions. I was off because I was busy with work, and now decided to come back. I think most people really dont have a passion to talk about snus non stop. (I myself am a tobacco vlogger on youtube about tobacco. I smoke cigars and pipes as a hobby, but now I am all about spreading the word of snus instead of smoking cigarettes. I smoked cigarettes for 10 years..... still smoke pipes, but maybe once or twice a month.) When I was gone. I still used snus. Some people also might have gotten fed up with the new users on the fourm asking the same question over and over. I am just here to help, and will answer the same question as many times as I need to help. I would do the same for others that ask in person.
