What's the Most You've Paid for a Can of Snus?

Today I left my house without any snus....I can't remember it ever happening over my two and a half years of constant snusing. A return trip home was out of the question, too far to turn back. So, I stopped by a tobacconist, cigar shop, I remembered from way back and paid $ 7.03 for a can of General Original Portions.......gladly I might add, though it was about three times what I paid for my last order during the Big Sale.

Can anyone top that?

Yes! Almost every order I make here in the UK used to come to that price per can when I ordered from Sweden as we had to pay Swedish tobacco taxes.

And when I was visiting Norway earlier in the year the standard price of General in the 7-11 shops over there was 80 Krona ... that comes to about $12 a can ... and yes I paid it!

I think you've got some of the cheapest prices in the world for most things in the USA and should be very grateful for that.

Sure, I can get a can of General for $2.00 at the gas station, but I pay $1,200 per month for health insurance for my wife and myself. It's just a matter of allocation. Somebody always gets your money.

$18.50 for General at the store near me. I've had online orders that have been delayed and I was forced to buy at that price.

About £9 in Norway for general, in Sweden it's now about £5 a tin.

If you make your own it's about £0.80 per can (and that's a good old fashioned 50g can of lös!)

I used to roll my own ... think it's around a fiver for 12.grams that would last me two days ... so it is actually probably cheaper

yep £4.32 for 12.5 g of golden angina at Asda ! i think it probably was more like three days as well !

I have used a tin of oden's 69 in a day but it only has 14 portions. I like to taste the snus so a tin a day will never happen, also with extra Starks you get jittery by about 7pm!
