"American" snus question for Indiana residents

Howdy, Hoosiers (and non-Hoosiers, for that matter).

I live in the Indianapolis area, and I'm kind of trying to get an idea of the locally available snus brands -- I'm low on funds at the moment so I can't get the real Swedish product, but I need some portions so that I can actually attend meetings with my Irish friend Nick O'Teen.

These are the brands I've seen locally:
    Grand Prix
    Tourney
    Marlboro
    Camel

Does anyone know of any others available around here? I've tried the Camel (Wyse should gear up for a lawsuit, IMO), and someone passed me a package of Marlboro "Snus" that I haven't opened because the package just looks like reworked Taboka. Is Triumph in Indiana yet, or is it still in Ohio and Georgia?

I haven't tried Grand Prix or Tourney, mainly because reports I've read on here have been somewhat underwhelming to say the least.

    Thanks!

Tourney is the best of your choices. I think I'd prefer Camel, just double up the portions. I'd suggest a short trip into Ohio for some Triumph. I seem to remember reading about a smoke shop in Indy that carries a couple of varieties. Maybe one of these guys with a better memory can help with that.

I bought 4 of the Tourney at a speedway a month ago and nealy Ralphed because it too dry for my own taste but other than that I would def go for the camel and even better wait bitterly and order some of the good stuff once you get funds my good man. Haven't seen triumph in the fort at all but other than that im officially hooked on the swedes snus

Well, if you don't mind driving 150 miles to Hobart, Indiana, they sell General brand snus. I looked for ya on swedishsnus.com.

If you buy Triumph for full price, you might as well spend the extra dollar and order off the internet; you will actually most likely save because you won't have to burn gas by driving to Ohio.

I live in Southern Indiana and I'm not aware of any others for sale in our State. I know of a place in Louisville that sells General & Catch Dry, its called Kremers Smoke Shop, but thats quite a drive for you.

Its best to order online and survive on other Swedish Match products like Redman and Timberwolf until it arrives.

I might do Tourney in a pinch, but didn't care for it last time I tried it.

If you can justify the extra cost in gas, pop over to Ohio and grab some Triumph. Definitely the best of the 'American' snus brands.

Well, you've got the Golden Leaf in Hobart (which might as well be a suburb of Chicago) and not much else.

I wouldn't recommend the drive as you're in Indy. I'm in South Bend (far closer to Hobart) and still wouldn't consider it worth it to haul over to Hobart and back. I'm a buysnus.com guy in my neck of the woods.

Edit: Sorry, nevermind. Just realized you don't care if it's Swedish or not.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I wish Triumph was available in Indiana. Hell, I wish there WERE more SM distributors in Indiana besides the Golden Leaf (Doc Robot, there have been times where I thought about making the drive anyway, but thanks for setting my mind at ease about deciding not to).

I desperately want the Swedish brands. Tourney/Grand Prix is the closest I've come to finding something Swedish, but they're shorting American customers a bit, I think, on volume per portion.

Anyone have a clue what happened to Klondike, the product that was going to be released by the American arm of Taboca? A while ago they were supposedly pending immediate release with flavors developed at the Toboca plant in Gotland. I know Mr Unloadingzone has been trying to contact them but there is still nothing new on their website.

                          short on funds?

Man, snus isn't expensive at all. Spend 30 bucks on your first order, if you can't afford that then you're doing something wrong in life
