    Anyone tried it?

Yeah I'd be interested to hear of anyone has tried it, given the boldness of the claims accompanying its release.

I've added a couple of cans of Diplomat on to my most recent snus order, so hopefully they'll turn up in the week and I can see what the fuss is about...

I've got some on order as well. I guess the boldness of their claims worked...at least for once

Just recieved my order, very nice tin! The snus is similar to general but with a slightly stronger yet fresher lemon taste. I think the tobacco is stronger too. Very impressed!!

          ooh, i'm excited now.

Mine should be in tomorrow. I'm also getting a Romeo & Julieta and a Montecristo to test out - will post up some thoughts once i've tried them out.

Those are nice, just a shame (for me) that they only come as pouches.

The tins are a real work of art!

yeah, I prefer loose over pouches as well - the diplomat is coming loose but the others, as you say, are only pouches. I really like Goteborgs No2 as well and wish it came loose

Good idea - but which mail order supplier do you use?
(Most send packs in rolls of ten only.)

there are a few others, but lots of them will sell individual tins

Yeah, in my case it was buysnus this time around, taking advantage of their 30% anniversary discount offer (now finished). Can't remember the exact price, but it was ~$3.50 a can IIRC, hardly the end of the world to tag a couple of cans on to an order

Just tried out the Diplomat - definitely a nice snus. The tobacco is like a slightly finer gellivare or landströms, but with a general-inspired flavour - a deeper and sharper lemon taste than general, though. Very nice

Glad to hear it's good. Received my order last week, will get round to trying it in the next few days once I've finished my current can of roda. The tins do indeed look pretty cool.

Think there's much chance of it becoming as popular as the (admittedly successful ) marketing blurb claims?

Hard to predict market success. The tin is beautiful, the price is basically the same as General, and the snus is excellent. It's got a winning recipe but it's hard to say what people will and won't buy. I'd buy it over general in a heartbeat.
