GN tobacco fleecing customers???

now I don't want to play the blame game, but the past two GN snus cans I've opened have been under on their portions, Islay whisky having 18 portions and my original cold having only 16??? is this the norm now? it seems a bit funny, both have the same weight on the side (20g and 18g respectively) as they used to.

Has anyone else noticed this, or could explain.

It could just be an annoying coincidence I suppose...

I think I remember this coming up before and the explanation was that the content of the can is determined by weight not count......fuller portions will result in fewer portion count.....though the weight remains the same.

That said, I think that had to do with GN counts compared with other brands........(why are there only 18 portions in a GN can when my Swedish Match has 20)......I don't think it concerned a can to can variance within the GN line itself........It sounds like there was just a glitch in the automated loading system during production.

So to answer the question.....no GN is not fleecing its customers.......two portions is hardly worth your future business

I love GN products, I was just getting a bit worried and wanted to see if anyone else had noticed anything. thought it might have been a batch issue or something. The controversial title was to draw the eye, nothing gets a good reply's like a controversial title now does it

Some time back some cans said "for whalen" on them. He had not seen them so I sent him a few cans that came from, I think, Buysnus.

That was very nice of you to do as both of you have made great contributions here and I think everyone on this board wants to see snus replace smoking for everyone who wants to stop cigs.

A Snuson special edition would be fantastic! Very cool!! I'll give them to everyone who says they want to give up cigs but don't know how easy it is. "Information on snus at www.snuson.com" on the side would be great.

Mill that was a mighty nice thing you did there! One of the last interactions I had with Premium Parrots was receiving a pair of cans with the "By Whalen" on the sides, nicely vacuum packed and pristine. They are frozen in my collection now. GN was great to put that on those cans, I was honored by that! Thanks again MILL, and a moment of silence for PP, I remain sullen and deeply saddened at his sudden departure.
