Mailing snus from Denmark til Austria

Hey,

I'm looking to send a friend in Austria 3 logs of portion snus. Portion snus is not legal in Denmark, but you can find a few shops that gets it themselves from Sweden and sell it.

I'm not sure about the regulations in Austria, but I've lived there for a bit and I'm pretty sure it's not legal to sell.

Does anyone know if I can send the snus from Denmark to Austria without problems, or should I not do it?

Sorry Jimmy, both Austria and Denmark are members of the EU so www.buysnus.com and www.snusdirect.com will not send snus there!

The rules in Austria are the same as for any other EU country apart from Sweden. Possessing and using snus is legal, bringing it in to the country yourself from Sweden is legal too. However, it cannot be sold legally in Austria and there is a grey area about the law concerning whether it can be bought online and sent to Austria from another EU member state.

Northerner will send snus to Austria from it's US warehouse, as will Odenssnus.eu from Sweden and snusline.com from Israel - all of them carry different ranges and brands.

Oh - and yes you can send personal packages of snus from Denmark to any EU member state and there should be no problem at all.
