Deployed...APO shipping

I'm deployed with an APO address and just read a post from 2011 that says there's no way to purchase snus tins online. I'm a casual Camel Snus user and am unsure if there are any websites that might sell and ship to us. Do any of you have any advice?

It probably depends on the country you're in, but an email to one of the big online stores may answer your question. Or have somebody back home buy some locally, and send it to you in a box of chocolates and Playboys

been looking now for a couple of days for a website that will send to an APO...seems like there are none that I can find. Anyone ever used costco before? Know if they are APO friendly?

Don't know about Costco. From SnusCentral.com's website "As FDA apparently has no love for the US Military, we are no longer allowed to ship to APO or FPO addresses. We're really sorry about that. Stupid micro-managing, social experimenting Washington bureaucrats....."
As a Major, can you order a Captain to find you some snus? Delegate!
Perhaps somebody back home can get Snus and ship it to you in discreet packaging?

the px at bigger fobs might have it, i know they carry dip, every time my platoon went to VBC guys would buy a few logs.

Don't quote me on this, but I am pretty sure I visited a lady in the state of Georgia who packed and sent some American dip to a relative who was deployed overseas. I think that was circa 2011/2012.

It seems that the PACT act is mostly concerned with collecting taxes, and sales of tobacco to children over the internet. That's why you can't just have things delivered from an online store using Regular Post/USPS to an address in the United States since it could fall into the hands of "children". In addition, taxes would not be collected by USPS.

I'd get Snus to a relative in the United States, and have them mail it to you, to your APO.

When my buddy was deployed in Afghanistan, I sent him packages containing dip and snus, and cartons of cigarettes for his men that wanted them, routinely.

I'm in the Navy and deployed now myself and what I do is put in an order online, take a picture of it and send it back toy friend in the States through Facebook messenger and he orders it for me and sends it out to me here to my FPO address. I send him money for my order through PayPal. I put in a huge order and it takes longer, but it's worth it, much better than the Skoal pouches I had to use in a pinch waiting for my Snus to get here

Just got deployed recently as well and am having the same problem...I don't suppose anyone has any new info on this? If I can't find an online store that ships FPO, I guess I'll have to have it next-dayed to an address at home, to keep it fresh, and have them ship it to me.
