    Help me find a supplier/brand?

    Hello all,

I used snus to quit smoking about 5 years ago (was a 2 pack a day guy for ~ 15 years.) I've used General Wintergreen this whole time, and for the last 2 years or so I've been buying retail in bulk (local gas station would order 50-100 cans at a time for me) at the General promotional rate.

The promotional rates seem to be at an end, so I need to decide how I'm going to buy going forward.

Internet ordering seems to make the most sense to me -- Prices are cheaper than local non-promotional retail. That opens up brands other than General.

I like the Wintergreen because you can still taste the tobacco and it isn't nearly as sweet as Mint. I would love an even less sweet (or not sweet at all) flavored snus, either mint or if there is a citrusy one, that would be amazing.

Any suggestions on stuff to try, and whom to order from?

    Thanks!

Lots of people say for wintergreen jakobsons is the best. Odens snus also has lots of flavoured snuses that aren't extremely sweet, other then that just try them all and find a favourite.

i'm assuming you're from the states so my say would be snus central seems to have the best overall prices, but buysnus has great sales and even mysnus seems to workout well for several members as well.

welcome to the forum and happy snusing

most "original" or "classic" are citrus flavored with bergamot if thats what youre looking for. general extra strong is my go-to citrus/bergamot snus, it has a very nice citrusy flavor.

Honestly, this is the first I've heard of someone actually liking General Wintergreen. A lot of people like Thunder Frosted, which is spearmint.

Thunder and Offroad Frosted are both minty without being overly sweet. Their flavor has natural sweetness to it rather than the more sugar-like sweetness you're used to from the General Wintergreen. Thunder Wintergreen has a bit more of a metallic mint taste and isn't sweet at all. Oden's Cold (my #1) is minty and falls closer to the Thunder WG for sweetness than the Frosted, in my opinion. Jakobsen's Wintergreen is good, but I think it's a lot sweeter than the General (or anything else really).

Like GG said, most "Original" flavor snus has a citrusy taste since "original" usually means "bergamot" in the snus world. General's Original portions will tell you exactly what that means since, I'd say, it hits the benchmark for bergamot flavor.
