    The Evil Snus tobacco giants

It creates a pretty picture doesnt it. Websites offering grab bags of random snus flavors at a slight mark down in order to save you money, and offer you some variety. But a closer look gives you a chilling reminder of the evil snus monsters who want to see us hooked on their product Let me explain.

The next time you get a "Mixed Roll" discount look at the snus they send you. Its almost ALL stark portions! Why is this? Is it possible that our beloved snus dealers are "TRYING" to get us hooked on their product. I mean, If I went to a cheese burger shop, hopefully they would make me a damn good burger to get me hooked and to come again. But look at the nature of the beast....the beast of addiction. Im gonna argue that these folks are doing their best to create a dependence on the devils weed in order to keep us coming back.

Why not send us mini portions, why not send us regular ass white portions? Ill tell you why, its because you are far more likley to place a phattty order once they give you enough nicotine to seriously poison a small child inside their "Stark" portions. :devilish:

Or am I over thinking this?

I will admit though, if I ordered a 10 rando roll and got General's mint mini white portions.....I would be pissed.

It's because they're over-produced. The stuff in "grab bags" is the stuff they're trying to get rid of.

who orders the mixed bags? what's the point in getting ten random snuses you will probably end up hating? if you want variety buy individual cans of stuff you actually like. even if you've never used snus you must know what flavors you like.

Even if you know what flavours you like, often something will surprise you when you try different flavours. Plus grab bags like that can sometimes be a pretty good deal, pay middle price get good snus. When I first started snusing i ordered a couple of these and most of the time it was full of good stuff like General,, Ettan, grov.

and who the hell doesn't like a surprise?

The mixed bags usually are snus that is seriously close to expiration. Sometimes its because they did over buy and they know they won't be able to sell it all before expy date so they toss in a few tins that are well within expy date. Also, you will notice that you may get some well within exby date but its the cheapest snus available.

Sorry but the OP is seriously off track on this one.

              carry on
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I love surprises, just not crappy snus and stuff that will expire in two weeks. lol

I think you're over thinking this for sure! I've ordered the loose mixed bags for years...maybe two or three times a year. Both Buysnus and Snuscentral.

It has always been a good variety with a mix of stark and regular but we are talking loose in my case. Quite a few years ago I got a bunch of cans of Lucky Strike loose over several orders and never once felt ripped off or even slightly shorted.

Never done it with portions but I can't imagine it being that much different....

Keep in mind that a large percentage of people on this board used snus to stop smoking so the view on addiction to nicotine might be different. If you are not using snus to quit smoking then I would encourage you to not start using snus at all....

I've got to agree with the other posters. It's not a sinister conspiracy, but rather the plain vanilla need to move product when you have finite warehouse space and you're responsible for paying for every square inch of it. It's detrimental to the business to allocate warehouse space to a product that simply isn't selling when they can use that same space to stock an item that will sell quickly, yielding more profit.

I love the mixed rolls. You get to try things you might not normally buy on your own, save some money, and it's always a surprise! Win/win!
