Phantom Blue Is Amazing

I am going to have to join Xobeloot on the Phantom movement. This is very very good snus. The blue is just phenomenal... I got a mix loose from buysnus and this stuff happened to be in there. When I first opened the can I get a hit of coca cola smell. And I love coke. So just the smell was enough to draw me in, and the flavor was nothing less amazing. This is a renewal for V2 tobacco for me, because initially I loved offroad origional los but it started to fade on me very quickly and the synthetic flavor was a little to much. So after loving v2, then disliking v2, I now love them again.

I also had a phantom origional flavored los that came with the mix and I just had to open it right away after tasting the blue. And it is not nearly as good, but hits a flavor that previous dip users may like a lot. It is the only snus that seems to have the same flavor as straight flavored dip does. As a previous dip user this is a good thing for me.

I must say I was very apprehensive of Xobe's reviews on blue, and thought he was a nut... which even though I have only been here for a few weeks, I can see he still is a nut :wink: , but he is very right on with his "phantom movement", this stuff really is great.

Though it can not even come close to Ettan, which is obviously my favorite. I just had to leave that as a note. As it stands my favorite's list is now updated with the new taste of Phantom blue... so here is the list.

1. Ettan los, nothing even comes close, not even on the same planet
2. Phantom blue los
3. Gustavus Los
4. Montecristo portions
5. Goteborgs Rape los

I only have a couple dislikes so far, or dissapointments
1. Skruf los, this stuff is way to sweet, for a stark I expected otherwise
2. General los, dont get me wrong it is good, but very very dissapointing since its cheaper brother, Ettan is SOOO much better.

I don't mind Phanton regular, but the blue just tastes funny to me.
When I put one in, I taste Windex (not that I drink Windex, but the same smell sensation).

Who knows, in a month I might think different.....

I got my Phantom Blue Lös last week and, I agree Xobe, quite tasty after using it for a few days. The smell is exactly like Windex but, the taste is just like a Leamonhead. It took a few pris' to get acclimated to it but, it's definately on my reorder list. I also like the way the pris holds together. With the Icetool, I can get that puppy to last for a couple of hours with out serious mudslide. Thanks for helping me open the doors to Lös snus my friend!!! :wink:

Thats something i posted liking about phantom is that the pris just doesnt fall apart. I love that about it.

The funny thing is that out of all the snus ive tried ive only found 2 kinds i will never re-order again.

Here in the states when i dipped I only used 2 brands over a few years. The rest to me was just bad and too artificial.

With snus even the low end brands are great. I was worried about what i was getting into ordering phantom and offroad but the ones ive gotten ive loved, plus im saving like 3 bucks a can.

Dollar-for-dollar, the stuff just cant be beat.

I am down to 3 cans of Classic and about 8 cans of Blue. I need to get another order off now. My mail seems to be taking a very long time as of late.

I actually revisited a can of General the other day and I can honestly say that it dod nothing for me in comparison to the Phantom classic that I use daily.

I'm pretty sure that "windex" smell that a lot of snuses have is the natural ammonia in the tobacco plant, which is released when the leaf is ground very fine like snus is. You can smell it faintly in some snuffs also.

Nah. It has a sorta fresh, pine/herbish scent to it. Not ammonia. Just very similar to the smell of windex.

I agree with you on both counts. Ettan is the best Los for me and Phantom Blue Los aint bad at all.

I have to say, this order was my first experience with Ettan. It's definitely salty, good flavor, pris holds up well in the mouth (as long as it's cool when you put it in; it doesn't bake well warm), long lasting flavor. However, it isn't the most flavorFUL, and the salt can pucker your lip up pretty good if it's all your carrying for the day. Other than that it's definitely good, I mean, I'd order a roll, if only to provide a little variety from my usual General.

Like I said Xobe, I though I was gonna get some phantom and come on here yelling at you for even supporting it, but I gotta say you will be a friend forever for getting me to even open the can.

BUT... again, Ettan is equivalent to sex... IT IS THAT GOOD. I find that a can of Ettan gets dry towards the end though, but I should mention thats because I open the can to smell it at least once a minute when it is in front of me, the smell is just so great. If I dont open the can to much it stays even moister than most other snus that I have tried. And the flavor is just the perfect balance of salty, bitter, flowery, sweet... Just everything about Ettan doubles its likability for me.

Anyway, as you are now a good friend of mine for turning me on to phantom blue... do me a favor and buy a couple of cans of Ettan on your next order. Maybe you'll like it as much as I like phantom and we can be friends forever ops: :wink: .

Yeah, it is the sad truth, I do that, but only with Ettan.
