wOW no one told you cigarettes were bad for you. Seriously cigarettes are not natural or healthy. If you haven't heard then I got a bridge in Florida to sell you.
nIcOtInE is a powerful drug.
mumble grumble mumble-
I'm pretty tired of beating the dead horse. if you wanna smoke go ahead.
If you're an adult who makes conscious decisions that ultimately harm you I don't feel sorry for you.
Everything in moderation. Shit, technically arsenic is natural.
Who says I won't get hit by a bus tomorrow? If I do and I haven't had a cigarette in the last week I'm gonna die pissed off!

I posted it up since I thought it was interesting, sure we have seen most of that information before, but from the looks of it, the modern marvels show was more unbiased than most on reporting the story. Many times we hear about how many chemicals etc.. are in smoke, but they went into detail about what is often added to the cigs, and what happens to those additives when they are burned. The reconstituted tobacco part was quite interesting.

If you've ever seen the entire episode they were anything but unbiased. They went on to glorify pipe smoking and cigar consumption as if they were trendy and quaint.
I would have to consider any form of tobacco less than healthy. Perhaps snus is the less of all evils as far as delivery methods.
The recon bit is phenomenal as far as pointing out a part of the process many people are unaware of.
It doesn't alter the fact that too much of anything is potentially dangerous.
Look at some of the ingredients permitted in our food supply. The amount of processing doesn't necessarily correlate to the impact on health. If cashews were not processed before consumption they would be poisonous. Ever seen one in the raw? Looks like an apple with a tail. Distilled rotten grains are prized. We may call them liqour, but the process is shocking to those who are unaware. How about rotten milk? Yeah I call it cheese.
When you really get down to analyzing the processes behind many consumable products the average person would be grossed out. Some of the finest coffee in the world has passed through the intestinal tract of a civet cat. There is still a demand for it.

Thanks, pcguy. That actually inspired me to switch my brand. I've been smoking a few Camel lights every day, but if I'm going to smoke I'd prefer not having all the nasty additives on top of the basic harmfulness. So today during my lunch break I stopped by the tobacco shop a few doors down and picked up a pack of Nat Sherman MCD cigarettes. Which are delicious.
