Best mint snus?

Thanks for all the input guys. The Skruf and Odens are definitely ones I'll check out. Thunder looks great but do they only come in extra strong?

I think part of my problem with General white portions is I am used to all the tobacco juice generated from dipping and the white portions make it almost nonexistent in comparison. After using exclusively General white for a few days it grew on me. I purchased the Nordic Mint and I like that when I'm looking for a little more moisture.

It's strange though. I loved the Camel when I first tried it and it made me go out and buy the General stuff that was available. Now before I'm even completely through the Camel I'm already unable to have it in for more than a couple minutes before I switch to one of the other ones. Tastes can change quickly I guess.

Thunder cool mint only comes in extra strong, but it definitely has the moisture your looking for. Trust me I'm a professional

odens Double mint is nice, got some in ma mouth right now, its not like pepermint or spearmint this is more like the mint herb, so natural and not artificial at al. Tis very good.

Jakobsson's mint is hands down the best, imo. It tastes great and the flavor and kick last a long time. I keep mine in over an hour and a half. Odens was repulsive. General mint is ok if it is all you can find. If is too sweet, takes to long to kick in because it is dry, and lasts not even an hour. It is also lower in nicotine, so no real kick.Thunder frosted strong is too strong and burns the he'll outta my gums. It is nice that it is less sweet and more cool but the mint flavor is gone in 10 minutes and what is left is a runny portion that tastes like a cheap wet cigar and destroys the gumline. Nick and Johnny makes some quality anus crushed ice is nice. It jut has a weird flavor I can't describe. Fun for once in awhile but not daily. Camel mint is so weak and tasteless it is not worth trying. Skoal tastes like gasoline. It was so bad I couldn't keep it in my mouth for more than a few minutes and I had to throw then away. American anus in general is useless imo. Jaks definitely has a kiss of eucalyptus flavor in their mint. A flavor we Americans are unfamiliar with. It took a bit of getting used to initially but by the end of the first can I was hooked. I haven't found a better mint yet. As for wintergreen, General is not bad. Their wintergreen is better than their mint just not strong enough for me. Jaks WG is too sweet and doesn't hold flavor as long as their mint. Off-road and thunder wg. are tolerable but just barely.

Coming over from dipping Skoal Mint LC almost exclusively, I am having a difficult time tasting any flavor whatsoever in the General White Mint portions. It just seems like a nicotine kick, which I feel, but I can barely taste anything. The first snus I ever had was the Camel Frost (oh no!!) and I've read about the differences between US/Swedish because of the artificial flavors and sugar, but is there any Swedish snus that even comes close to that type of intensity mint-wise? Again, it's not that I disliked the General Mint it's just that the flavor is so faint to me. I'm used to going through a tin of Skoal in about 4 pinches, so size wise the difference of what I'm used to in tobacco size might be the biggest problem?

Also, the places around here have the General fridge with the Original, White, Wintergreen, Mint, and then 12 pk Nordic. Is the Nordic a more flavorful mint? And do they sell the regular mint in original portions instead of white? The white might be too dry for what I'm used to coming from dipping. I mess around with it in my mouth non stop just trying to suck some flavor out of it.

Just my 2 cents here: the general mint white portion needs time to develop its flavor. Every time I put one in it seems like it takes for ever to develop any flavor at all. But then somewhere around the half hour mark suddenly it's there and really really good. Don't suck on it just let it sit and moisten the flavor will come just have a little patience. Once the flavor hits I've had flavor for up to three hours then it tappers off.

As you said you are coming from dipping and rather large dips at that! Snus is different! You don't need the huge amounts that you did before!you just need to have the patience to let it do its thing. So put one in and let it ride and see what happens. Once the flavor hits you can suck on it all ya want just give it time to happen. It will happen just takes longer because your mouth secretes less saliva in the upper lip than it does In The lower lip.

I must say I tried a few of mint snus brands but was always impressed with NESMARK Alpine ice portion (SNIX is manufacturer, not that known, I think it's quite new)

Try out Sisu Extreme White Dry. It's a spearmint/menthol snus. I didn't like it that much when I first got the roll and put it in the back of the fridge. Tried it a month later and enjoyed it. It's not sweet, but has a bit of that penetrating vapor-like quality that the menthol adds in to the mint mix. I don't like it enough to keep ordering whole rolls of it, but it IS a pretty cheap snus and wouldn't mind having a can or two of it every week.

I think odens double mint is the best one ive tried unlike all the others doesnt taste artificial. cant normally stand mint flavoured snus i think its a terrible flavour but odens one rocks my world. Im not a fanboy honest.
