I do feel as if it is a concern. Is it possible to get that info by contacting them or are they going to give me the run-around?

I'd guess a runaround. Tobacco companies are very secretive about what goes into their products, and how they're made. It generally takes law to get them to divulge information. Of course you won't get anything unless you ask. You can always try.

I dropped in to my local shop today, and they didn't know quite what I was talking about. The friendly...*ahem*..."friendly" attendant told me to check back on "Turrsdyeeah"...which I think means the day before Friday.

My biggest complaint after using each flavor 2 times is the texture of the pouch itself. It seems as if the texture gets even rougher after it has been in your mouth, so if you are to adjust it without physically using your fingers, it kind of rubs against the gums creating an almost fine-grit sandpaper effect.

I wish the texture was softer like on triumph or camel.

well , this is my official last post.

Skoal and other Dips are not that much higher in TSNAs.

The reason i used swedish snus is because of its convenience and its neater.

However, snus to me just didnt have the flavor like american dips and i must say im very disappointed in that fact.

So im back on American Snuff and not mad at all.

I would imagine Skoal Snus is safer than their dip, which because of all their flavors just sits their rotting on store shelves unrefridgerated.

Seems that its a good to decent product but as we all know is for an american market and can not be nowhere near as good or held to such a high quality as swedish snus.

I would rather see politicians campaigning that tobacco companies must list the ingredients on all tobacco products.

Instead of raising taxes and makign it illegal to send tobacco through the mail.

Too bad grim is done the snusing game. I dip and still snus. Love Dipping love snusing. I do wish snus tasted like dip, but thats never going to happen.

I really don't know the levels of TSNA in dips. I hear that Longhorn is very low and I like Longhorn and its only 1.22 a can at Walmart. But I don't know the level in Grizzly for example. A lot of people use Grizzly Wintergreen. Its like a third of the market. Skoal even cloned it as Skoal Edge I believe... don't know if they got their edge back.... I doubt it. I would try grizzly if I knew the TSNA's weren't overblown and were comparable to Longhorn.... Anyone have the data?

Don't recall exact numbers, butConwood is lower than UST, but higher than pinkerton. Also, I recommend just dipping T-wolf or Redman, they're same price as grizz and MUCH MUCH easier on the gums. T-wolfs wintergreen is REALLY good.

I don't know, I tried Red Man WG and Straight yesterday, both are fantastic, especially for a buck a can. If this tobacco bill goes through and I can't get snus anymore, I'll switch to Red Man.

Try the fine cut natural: it's so good Grim stopped snusing.

I'll prolly just use my home-made nasal snuff if this bullshit bill passes, along with plenty of Cope and Redman. I think we should band together according to locality and set up a very small and economical "Snus Store" or Smokeless Tobacco store. We, the owners, would of course customers. Who knows, I think any dipper/snuser would be overjoyed to go to a store that sells ONLY smokeless.

I visited their site and almost registered until I noticed that the registration was not a secured site. They asked for a lot of personal info and I did not want to give that over anything unsecured..

A can of skoal costs 7$ here, same goes with other dips. Better off in Canada with the swedish snus.

I really don't care about the price. Dip is pricey here, but i can't just snus nor can i just dip. I bought a can of skoal straight 2 days ago and was impressed we finally get the 35 gram cans. The 35 gram can cost me about $18 yeah it was ridiculous but i had to buy it.

After getting my snus (including shipping and ****ing customs) each can cost about $7-$8 any way. I get hit by customers every damn order now.

I've tried the FC Natural, and it had that Copenhagen mulch taste underlying the hickory/charcoal type flavor. It just wasn't for me, not to mention that fine cut isn't really my style; it doesn't stay in a lump in my mouth like long cut does. OTOH, Red Man long cut isn't really that long cut. It's more like Cope mid cut. I like it though, long enough to bind together, short enough to give off plenty of juice...for the swallowing. If Red Man came out with a LC Natural, I'd probably give it a second try, but for now, Straight and WG are great for me when I feel like a dip.

P.S. Red Man's flavor keeps going FOREVER! I was playing poker at a friend's house on Friday, and kept a pinch in for over 3 hours; never even thought about changing it out!
