Swedish Match launches General Kardus Fäviken 2016

    Sigh!

Not only have I seen no news of this release here (which makes me so sad given that it is the pinnacle of snus production and one of the finest snuses I have ever experienced in past years) but also it seems absolutely impossible to get hold of a tin of this very expensive and premium snus here in the UK as it is only available through web shops that don't ship here.

Also - anyone wanting to get hold of a tin of this precious stuff needed to know about it on December 1st and almost 3 weeks later I've found out about it. I know that Northerner still has 5 tins available but the rest of the run probably lies only in Swedish tobacconist shops. In the years gone by I would have expected someone here on SnusOn to have given me the heads up about it ... but it would appear that most of the real snus enthusiasts have been banned from the site for telling us too much or have been driven away.

For those of you remaining who enjoy snus for it's own pleasure ... and have a bit of excess cash ... and aren't scared of treating themselves to a flavour explosion of decadence, then have a look at the link below ... and see if that doesn't get your snus-juices flowing:

I am informed that Northerner still have 5 in stock at http://www.northerner.com/general-ka...end-loose-snus ... and you should probably use that link if you live outside of Sweden or Norway and fancy giving yourself the ultimate snus treat!

If anyone is feeling charitable then they could order it on my behalf from a country that allows it to be delivered there and send it on ... I don't have the money ... but I do have the money ... if you know what I mean! And I would pay the £75 plus shipping and then some to taste this.

Anyway ... now you know it exists ... I feel better for that.

    Merry Xmas

I actually have this in my fridge right now, they say wait 8 weeks for best flavour but I had to sneak a pinch. Has some fruit tones not unlike roda lacket, but it does turn bitter after the 30 minute mark so hopefully at 8 weeks that smooths out. The long cut los is great for just taking a pinch, none of the hand baking/ ice tool BS

hope you can get your hands on it squeezy

Thanks taffyjock ... I know that buysnus lists the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey as valid destinations for sales so that would suggest that they are outside the EU! Don't think I haven't investigated the possibility of a mail-forwarding service from these British islands ... and no - there isn't one! At least not one that's widely available and affordable.

I think I may have found a solution to my problem ... although if I can get some it won't arrive before Christmas.

              Better late than never.

I'd be tempted to order some but I think it's wasted on me, so will leave it for the real connoisseurs.

It's been sent! What can I say, apart from the fact that the people who run Topsnus.com are some of the kindest and have gone out of their way to please me. Better customer service ... I have never seen!
