    Snus and Poisoning

    I am back guys.

I had to go to the ER the other day because I had a metallic taste in my mouth and was having very bad chest pains and muscle spasims.

They asked what all I had that day and blah blah blah.

Turns out I had some sorta metal poisoning. I forget what he actually called it but somehow it got on my hands and I contaminated all of my snus. Thats how it leeched into my bloodstream.

So after that I am back.

I thought someone had poisoned my snus lol, but it was from helping a buddy out at a construction site that this happened.

    So phew. Im back.

Glad to hear you're okay, that sounds pretty scary. Give us an update if you find out how the contamination occurred. Weird!

OK, time for a public service announcement....

If you are gonna snus, probably best to wash you hands first. Of course, I never do, but I'm just the one making the announcement

So does this mean you are sticking with the snus Grim?

                Thanks guys.

Well I have really bad anxiety which results in some pretty scary panic attacks. Too much snus makes it worse.

I think it was the fact I was at a construction site and for whatever reason I brought Los with me instead of my portions. I accidentally left my icetool at home.

There were several caustic chemicals and other things we were using that day and I just forgot to wash my hands and when I baked a fat pris I guess i saturated it with whatever I was using.

                But it is ok now.

Ive had to cut my nicotine comsumption back a bit because of the increased panic attacks but im back for good.

I have been having to use mostly portions too. I still make time to use those V2 new limited los flavors, they are pretty delicious, but mostly use portions now.

I still use Los, just not exclusively anymore.

                  SCARY!

Most metal compounds are carcinogenic and harmful, so it's probably best to thoroughly wash your hands before using snus, especially if you're baking a pris!

There is a technique where you can get a portion of los or portions with only your tongue. You don't have to use your hands at all....

I have also witnessed users use the lid of the can as a shovel to get out some los, throw it in their mouth and use their tongue to form a portion.

I checked myself into the ER last Friday for symptoms that mimicked my near-death with lung blood clots. Turns out I'm clear, but I did pass out and experience a heart stoppage because it took a pair of coffee-deprived surly nurses 15 minutes to find an iv-suitable vein, after 15 minutes of digging and poking my vagal nerve kicked in and I passed the f*** out. On a snus note, the doc that treated me had read about snus and commended me for quitting smoking. I had a N&J West in while they CT scanned my lungs.
Best of luck to you Grim.

I only use portions. But I have used just my tongue to get a portion out, when I was in a situation where my hands were really dirty with nasty chemicals on them. Where there is a will there is a way 8)
