How about storing unopened containers of snus in the controlled enviorment of a good humidor - 70% humidity @ 70 degree temperature? Cigars stay fresh for monthes and years.
Has anyone tried this?

I would think that the only concern would be that the tobacco would start to ferment in a room-temperature atmosphere (I expect you mean 70F and not 70C!). Snus is kept cold not only to stop it from drying out, but also to stop the fermentation and formation of the carcinogens that snus is so carefully designed to minimise.
Snus should be kept at about 4-8 Celsius, that is less than 45 F. Humidity wise, if snus has about 50% water in it, if you want to keep it from drying, i suppose you want to store it at at 55-60% humidity.
Just put it in a ziplock bag and put in in a fridge. Or freeze it if you want to keep it for months (why would you if you can get it fresh?).
So i know that its a good idea to keep your snus in the freezer, or more commonly in the fridge...but i was just wondering...what if i kept it in the...
