    Mellgrens IPA

I've just recently started snussing and my go to nic level is a General portion .8mg. However, when I tried the Mellgrens IPA which supposedly has 1mg nic I get a nic overload. Has anyone else noticed this? I'd understand if I was using a sterk but this is supposed to be a regular portion.

1mg is higher than 0.8mg so that could be it? Different snuss also have different levels of free base nicotine, which basically means that more of the nicotine in the tobacco is readably absorb-able. Which, gives you a bigger initial hit of nicotine. So I would suppose that Mellgrens IPA has a higher free base nicotine content than General OP.

I think that must explain it because I get this cigarette-like rush of nicotine compared to the usual .8 mg. I've also tried Nick and Johnnys' 1.2 mg strong white and didn't get the same feeling.
