Hello,
I have been out of the snus game for quite some time. I can not remember the last time I posted on this site (neither can this site). I would be interested to see if any of my fellow poster are even still here anymore and see if anyone remembers me. I used to post everyday for several years. First, why has it been so long? I stopped using snus after I had a blood clot go to my heart about seven years ago, which, thankfully, did very little damage but made me very sensitive to caffeine and nicotine. Tobacco had nothing to do with it. I quit nicotine and alcohol for quite some time. When I started drinking again with more moderation I started using domestic U.S. tobacco. I always thought that tobacco use would only be on the weekends. My wife hates it for the obvious reasons. I also stopped buying Swedish snus because of the prohibitive cost of shipping. Used to have it sent via post but they stopped that, making it cost prohibitive to ship. So, here I am using domestic tobacco and enjoying it but the hit from it is excessive, spitting is a necessity, and I can not keep it in long because it is really not enjoyable. About a few weeks ago I came across a tobacco store on the way going to my friend in Indiana, they had General snus portions on sale! I have not seen these ever where I live! I purchased them all for $2.25 a can. Some were out of date, but most were not. The out of date ones do not concern me, because I would keep snus in the freezer a long time beyond expiration. I got General portions white, wintergreen, and mint. It took them about 20 minutes to unlock the tiny fridge, eventually having to break it open. They promised that they would re-order all flavors. The sale continues until June 30. There are many available flavors, but I tend to use them when I drink and think that the white portion is the best flavor for such use, though I am not limiting myself to that. I plan on trying all the flavors, but which ones should I favor? The available flavors are: Original, White Portion, mint, wintergreen, nordic mint and Classic Blend. I loved Ettan los, and would like to have something that is much like Ettan. As I stated I have tried white portion, wintergreen, and mint. All are great but my preference from what you have read should be...? Thanks in advance.
