Target sells a .5 cubic foot minifridge (Chefmate) that works well; plus you get precise temperature control. I have a thermometer in mine to make sure I keep my snus at 40*F at all times. It has several rolls capacity and is an energy saver if you keep it filled with snus cans and soda. I have twenty cans of snus and five sodas in there and lots of room to spare. Very quiet since it has no compressor. It's about the size of a small microwave. Just FYI.

As soon as I saw that, I knew I had to have one. I tried WallMart thinking they'd have something like it, but they didn't. Went to Target, and they had one left! Fits perfectly on my desk within reach, no running down stairs or having room temperature los on the desk any more. Thanks for the tip. Now I have to pull my crap out of the fridge downstairs, and break out some los from the freezer!!

This sounds perfect for what I need! Can you tell me what you paid for it?

The coke fridge cost me $43 and change. I need to stick a thermometer in there and check the temp. The ice tool and los seems to be cooled just right though. But you can't control the temp. Plus side is it's very small, so it fits on the desk.

COCSP: I paid $50 for it. It works great and has enough room that you can keep some soda (or whatever) in it in addition to your snus.

Sweeeeeet. Now all that remains is to talk the wife into letting me buy it.

Nothing worth doing was ever easy though, was it?

Good luck! My wife has been bugging me about getting a free standing freezer... Now I have a real reason to go buy one!

Yeah, I think we'll be getting one of those next year. We're getting ready to buy a house, and I think she wants some extra storage space. It's either going to be a freezer or a free standing fridge to put our beer in. That should free up the space she's looking for...

It just occurred to me, you can get some really cool freezers and fridges [full size] at appliance stores that sell the ones that have very minor exterior damage from shipping or scratches etc. My mom and dad got a really nice stainless-front, full-size fridge-only for about a quarter of the retail price from a place like that and it still carries the factory warranty. My cheapo-Target desktop fridge works great, as I'm single and kidless though.

The wife bought our 25 year old top door deep freezer 10 years ago at a garage sale for $10. It'll bring a room temp 6 pack of plastic bottle Diet Coke to near freezing in about 45 minutes. Did I win the "Biggest Cheapa** award on SnusOn" yet???
