    Question on Grov

    Hey folks ,

Just a quick question. I have heard it said that Grove is similar in flavor to Copenhagen. Does anyone else find this to e true? Just curious because I plan to order some Grove soon but I don't know wetter to get one can or ten.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Grov is a tobacco tasting snus. It's very robust and rich, natural. I've never had Copenhagen, but if you enjoy the taste of tobacco, you will love Grov. It's a delicious snus.

Thank you General 1866. If I may, can I ask if it has any of that citrus taste like General Los or is it more of a smoky flavor. Copenhagen snuf unlike Copenhagen long cut has a very smokey flavor that I love.

      Thanks again

I don't get any citrus with Grov. It's mostly rich tobacco, a little leather, a touch of salt and a little bit of smoke (but not too much).

If you want a smoky snus, I'd suggest trying some of the whiskey snus products if you're into whiskey - Islay, Crafted, Mackmyra, they are all good. Nick & Johnny Strong is another one that is tobacco focused in flavor. It has tobacco, leather, and some smokiness in the taste! You may also consider looking into the Ettan snus line, it's been a while since I've had it, but from what I recall it was a little smoky, too. It's also tobacco centric.

Ohhhhhh I love ettan Los. To me it tastes like a good cigar. The coarse cuts seem to stay together better for me. I have some makmyra right now but was looking at Grove for the reason of having a pure non citrus taste or any added flavorings. I think I will get 3 cans and put some money back in case I love it. Thanks again

Both are great and are in my regular rotation. Grov is a bit courser in it's cut than Ettan and a bit more smokey. I think you are going to like them both.

Keep us posted and let us know what you think when you get them

Here is your best response.........."I don't get any citrus with Grov. It's mostly rich tobacco, a little leather, a touch of salt and a little bit of smoke (but not too much)".
Grov is a straight tobacco flavor.

My old Ettan/Grov op debate....Ettan has been winning for a while, but Grov is always in the mix, it's plain tobacco to me......Now, Grov Stark op is always always in my rotation, my go to when when nothing else gets it....

I like Grov way more. The chocolatey taste in Ettan can turn on me if I use it too much.

I haven't gotten the too chocolatey flavor in a long time, just used to it I suppose......
