Help with ups!

Hey guys and girls first off i am new to this site and am happy to become part of the snus community! Now im not sure if i am posting this in the right forum so correct me if i am wrong. Anyways i ordered some snus from buysnus.com and i live in new york. It was supposed to come today but it says "held in warehouse" in Louisville, Ky. Will i still get my package and should i be worried? also its weird because normally anytime i order something from EU it normally comes the newark Jersey... anyways thanks!!!

Welcome! Not sure, but I just ordered from them last week, and it got to me in Illinos in three days. I read that another retailer had some FDA delays with their "mixed bag" samplers, but it was just a slight delay. Hope you see it soon.

If you keep an eye on the tracking you will notice that your package just might circle the country a couple of times before you receive it.....but that's really rare. Don't be surprised at what the tracking may say. Usually its 3 to 5 days depending upon what day and what time of day you order from overseas. Its way too early to worry about it.

hey guys so I have a update, the snus is still being held at the warehouse for 5 days now I got in contact with ups and they sent me this email as to why it has happens. Hello Alex,



We are currently experiencing higher-than-normal volume due to recent new requirements placed by the US FDA on tobacco and/or alcohol shipment into the US.



Please be assured that we are working towards processing your shipment as soon as possible and we will advise you if any additional info is needed.

It will get to you........I wouldn't fret over it until it is past due.

That said, how do "new FDA regulations" increase UPS's "volume"........did the FDA pass a law that requires everyone to order snus this month.

I put in an order on June 28th and it's still being held by customs. I decided to make a 2nd order to hold me over as Customs can hold packages for up to 30 days (heard 45 somewhere), thinking they couldn't possible single out 2 orders in a row. Well, they did. Now I have two orders being held. WTF is going on with this? I always order from Buysnus.

Also, that's more than what UPS gave me. They just told me it's being held and they can't do anything. Contacted Buysnus about it too. At least they gave me a coupon for the inconvenience.

Ok something annoying has happend, I got a email from UPS on Sunday saying it would come today but when I go on the tracking number it still says held wtf is going on!?!??!?!

My first packaged got cleared today. No updated delivery time, but I expect it'll be about 2 days. So, held on June 28th. Cleared on july 10th.

Another update same day, Now says Clearance in progress with these status's,

07/10/2017	10:34 P.M.	Brokerage released the package. It will be processed through a clearing agency before final release to UPS.
