Snus24.com sent me dry snus

Hey guys! So I just received an order of 40 cans from snus24.com. I usually have no problems with this website and I love there selection of snus. However the first tin of jakobssons wintergreen I opened was on the dry side, and the flavor only lasted for around 20 minutes.. hopefully it's only one or a few cans like this but if it's all of them then that's a problem. Has anyone else had an issue with dry snus from this website? I sent them a message but idk if they will do anything. Hoping for some free cans that are actually not dry.. the cans don't expire until December but I guess they wasn't refrigerated properly, just wondering if anyone's had the same issue and how you resolved it?

Just ordered from them yesterday, Should be getting the package in on Tuesday. Ill report back with the moisture levels!

Anyone have orders with dry snus

So my last post didn't get a lot of replys so hopefully this one does, on my second can of jakobssons and the shit is still kinda dry.. really pissed at this point. Anyone have any issues with snus24.com or anyother website? In yalls opinion which website ships the freshest snus because dropping a lot of money for a dry product is ridiculous

it could have been a manufacturing problem.....unless the order sat in the sun at 95 degrees for a week. snus24 should take care of it for you, if not let us know. all in all I think they are a decent vendor with good prices, Maybe they need to work on customer service a bit. good luck

Thanks, only thing I can think off was it sat out in the heat or something, it took 5 days to get from Sweden to where I live in Virginia, was delayed for a day thanks to the good old FDA, the jakobssons portions are the only ones that seem dry so far.. but that's the main one I ordered lol just sucks cause I still taste the flavor but it goes out in like 20 minutes

I recently bought Jacobssons from another vendor. It was fresh, moist, and tasty. Never ordered from Snus24 myself, but I would let them know. If it's within its freshness date, I doubt if it was the manufacturer

In the mean time as you await the reply from CS, you might try re-hydrating it a bit. I have used a squirt bottle I got from walmart for like $1.29, set it on mist, and gave the snus a good dampening (shake the snus up and repeat until it feels right on your gums) then I take a shot glass and pack the snus down in the can to keep it moist and help the moisture added evenly distribute)

That's a good idea! Snus24.com finally got back to me and said there snus is always stored in a fridge room, he said he would contact the jakobssons manufacturer and let me know something soon

Thanks for letting me know! Idk I mean mine was still moist but it wasn't as moist as it's been when I've ordered it before, probably because it took 5 days to reach me I guess. Who knows. It's still good tho just doesn't last as long

As I mentioned already it could be the manufacturers fault. The portions get their flavor sprayed on the portions. I've seen portions that were dry before. Where you can see that parts of the portions were not sprayed. Literally saw that the portions weren't saturated, like if the spray machine was running out of the flavoring before someone making it noticed it. V2 had this problem about 6 years ago. I bitched because I had purchased like 50 rolls of a certain flavor and found a roll that was dry right off and thought all the rolls had the same problem. Luckily only one roll seemed to be affected.

That was when V2 had just purchased a new portion machine and they were getting it adjusted. The portion count was affected as well. Some tins had as little as 11 portions when they were supposed to be 24 at the time. I contacted northerner and either northerner or V2 made up the difference in the count and only maybe 1 roll was affected by the dryness. Either way the vendor should make it up to you.

5 days in a sealed tin in the sun shouldn't be the problem. I'd say 2/3 weeks might cause a dryness problem tho.

Well I finally got an update from snus24.com, from a guy named Vladimir, and he was really helpful, he said that it's vacation time in Sweden, (must be nice) and that he couldn't get in contact with jakobssons manufacturer, so he said on my next order he'd send me a free role of jaks wintergreen. I won't be ordering for a couple months since I'm stocked up so hopefully they will remember! And I hope just one role was affected and not the other, at least all the other snus seems fine. I was aggravated because it took at least a week for them to get back to me, but offering me a free role was surprising. Seems like I'll stick with snus24, even though it took awhile to respond I'm very pleased that they were understanding with my concern.

They won't remember. You will need to remind them BEFORE you place your order. Keep the emails to prove what they promised. And they should do as promised.

^^^ What he said. I have had good results with snus24 honoring make-up orders or replacements, but friendly reminders before the next order is a the best assurance......
